Second, the road conditions on this section are much better than the previous two. It is clearly felt that the further to Pokhara, the better the roads, town construction, and houses than other places. 🌟Highlights: 🇳🇵It was not yet three o'clock when we arrived in Pokhara. This time we booked a youth hostel. The inn is next to Phewa Lake. Sitting on the bed, you can see the so-called "Lake Geneva" of Nepal - Phewa Lake. 👍Most recommended: 🇳🇵Phewa Lake is the second freshwater lake in Nepal. A royal holiday resort. It originates from the snow water on Annapurna Mountain in the Himalayas. It's a bit smaller than West Lake. The deep part of the water is more than twenty meters. At more than four o'clock in the afternoon, the temperature is still nearly twenty degrees. The lake surface under the sun is quiet and soothing. There are many local Nepalese and Western restaurants and coffee shops along the lake. There are not many people on the lakeside trail. It is completely different from the attractions we have walked through before. In the evening, when the lights are on, the entire lake area seems to be a light show, very beautiful. It is said that you can see the beautiful picture of the entire city at night from the World Peace Tower on the hill by the lake. I checked the map and it takes about an hour to walk up the mountain. So we gave up the mountain view. ✅Must experience: 🇳🇵The next morning, in order to see the most famous peak of Pokhara, Fishtail Peak, we walked all the way to the cable car station. Then take the cable car to the top of Sarangkot. Fishtail Peak is right in front of you. Several famous peaks of the entire Himalayas are lined up in front of you. However, compared with the promotional photos, it is not so beautiful. Because our photography skills are not good, we can't see Fishtail Peak in the photos we took. After asking some people, we still can't get a good effect. ⏳Play time: 🇳🇵Opposite the snow mountain is the panoramic view of the entire Phewa Lake area. Back on the street, there are many small shops introducing tourist projects. The introduced projects are mainly activities. Pokhara is located on the southern slope of the Himalayas. It is the base of the Annapurna Mountain trekking project. There are various trekking projects of different lengths. From a few hours to several tens of days. In addition, there are many extreme projects. Such as paragliding, powered parachutes, bungee jumping, etc. These activities are a thing of the past for us. More suitable for European and American tourists. In Pokhara for two days, we didn't meet a Chinese tour group, which is rare in our nearly ten years of travel. Maybe it doesn't suit the taste of Chinese tourists, or it hasn't been opened by Chinese travel agencies yet.
