Stepping into Puan County, Guizhou, to participate in the first picking event of 'Guizhou Green Tea' in 2024

On the first day of the New Year in 2024, I came to Puan County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou, to participate in the National Morning Tea Conference and the first picking event of 'Guizhou Green Tea' in 2024. The atmosphere on the scene was lively, with wonderful programs such as the New Year's blessing 'Three Teas', opening dance performances, tea making demonstrations, and the first picking ceremony. Puan is known as the hometown of ancient tea trees in China and the hometown of Chinese tea culture, and it is the origin of tea in the world. Moreover, compared with other tea-producing areas, the spring tea in Puan is generally picked about 20 days earlier, making it one of the earliest tea-producing areas for spring tea in China.
