A Trip to Sagada: A Journey to Tranquili

If you find yourself yearning for a peaceful retreat away from the bustling city streets, then a trip to Sagada is just what you need. Nestled amidst the stunning mountains of the Cordillera region, Sagada offers a serene and breathtaking escape from the chaos of everyday life. Though the journey to Sagada may be challenging, with its bumpy and twisty roads, the destination itself is well worth the effort. Leaving Baguio City behind, we embarked on a six-hour ride towards Sagada. As the Bus weaved through the winding roads, anticipation grew within us. We knew that this journey would lead us to a place of tranquility and natural beauty, far away from the concrete jungles we were accustomed to. Upon arriving in Sagada, we spent our 1st day leisurely strolling around town, immersing ourselves in its unique charm. We explored the various restaurants, each offering a taste of local flavors. Sagada Brew, Sagada Lemon Pie, Yoghurt House, and Piitik Wines Sagada were just a few of the places we enjoyed, indulging in delectable treats and savoring the local culinary delights. Day 2 of our adventure was filled with excitement and exploration. We embarked on a trek to the Marlboro Hills, eager to witness the magic of the morning unfold before our eyes. As we hiked up the hills, the beauty of the surrounding landscape took our breath away. The lush greenery, the crisp mountain air, and the stunning panoramic views created a sense of awe and wonder within us. After our exhilarating trek to the Marlboro Hills, we continued our journey to Blue Soil Hill. The trek took us roughly two hours, mostly downhill, allowing us to take in the magnificent scenery along the way. As we reached our destination, we were greeted by the sight of the mesmerizing blue soil, a natural wonder that left us in awe of nature's wonders. Day 3 was dedicated to relaxation and embracing the peaceful atmosphere of Sagada. We started our day with a delightful breakfast at Isang Wow Cafe by the Clouds. The view of the sea of clouds as we sipped our coffee was truly breathtaking, creating a sense of serenity that washed over us. After breakfast, we returned to our cozy haven, Hotel Sagada Sunrise View, to simply hang out, engage in meaningful conversations, and bask in the tranquility that surrounded us. As our trip to Sagada came to an end, we couldn't help but reflect on the beauty and tranquility we had experienced. It was a journey that allowed us to escape the chaos of our daily lives and find solace in the embrace of nature. Sagada, with its awe-inspiring landscapes, friendly locals, and peaceful atmosphere, had become our sanctuary, a place where we could collect our thoughts and reward ourselves with a well-deserved break. So, if you find yourself yearning for a moment of respite, consider venturing to Sagada. Embrace the challenging roads that lead you there, for they are a testament to the hidden paradise that awaits. Allow yourself to be captivated by the beauty of Sagada.
