I think Stratford-upon-Avon was a really nice town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. They have probably done everything they can to maximize on their Shakespeare fame. I don't think it is worth much time and shouldn't be at the top of your list if you are looking for a good day trip from London. I posted some photos. If you visit Stratford upon Avon, pronounced A'-vun, you will be inundated with the other thousands of people who are visiting on the same day you are. #nationalpark
