I used to think that the life of an ancient lady must have been quite boring, unable to go out and play all day, nor watch TV, and without the ability to use mobile phones or play games. Where did their pleasure come from, could it just be from looking at flowers? It is indeed from looking at flowers and plants, this kind of ultimate romance. The enjoyment of the ancients is something we can't fully comprehend. Pushing open the door, there is a plum tree in full bloom; the garden has flowers in all four seasons. Camellias also have the 'Eighteen Scholars,' and plum blossoms are even more elegantly beautiful. The pink plum of the Canglang Pavilion, you can see it as soon as you open the door. It's simply too beautiful; previously it was the winter plum, and now it's this one. If I were an ancient person, I wouldn't want to go out either. I would just stroll and walk around in the courtyard, and that would be enough. This light and shadow, every blade of grass and tree, is a beautiful scene. The gentle breeze and the bright moon are priceless, and the proximity to water and the distance of mountains are all filled with affection. Gracefully standing by the shore of Taihu Lake, calmly gazing at the Dongting Mountain, where fish and dragons hide, and the mist deeply locks the vast expanse in between. Looking at such beautiful scenery, how can one not compose a line of poetry or verse?
