Century-old Raintrees Walk

#2023travelwish We had a wonderful walk in Taiping Lake Gardens admiring the beautiful century-old raintrees. The large trunks of trees growing towards the lake, just like a Ballerina bending her body, so gracefully. I saw the local authority helping to install some metal legs to support the trunks from falling. Hopefully the raintrees stay strong. Many locals are cycling, jogging, and exercising in this lovely serene place. The Pagoda Cina was stunningly beautiful at night. Must try the Milo drink sold by a vendor in the park, it's so good. Plenty of parking here, no hassle, and it's free. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature walks. Next year I wish to travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights.
