The temple in the blooming season will definitely make your trip worthwhile!!! ❤Reasons to recommend: Guangren Temple, also known as 'Lama Temple', is the only Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism temple in Shaanxi Province, and the only Green Tara Temple in the country. It has a history of more than 300 years and houses one of the only two life-size statues of the twelve-year-old Sakyamuni Buddha in the world, with the other one located in the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa. 📍Detailed address: No. 152, Northwest 1st Road, Lianhu District, Xi'an. 🚉Transportation guide: Take the subway Line 1 to Sajinqiao Station or Yuxiangmen Station D exit, and walk about 1 kilometer. 🎫Ticket: No reservation needed, free entry to the temple! At the entrance, you can get bracelets and Vajra knots. In summer, water and wet wipes are provided, which is very considerate! Follow the clockwise direction to visit: Kangxi Stele Pavilion - Life Release Pond - Guanyin Hall (the largest Thousand-Hand Guanyin statue in Shaanxi - Bell Tower/Drum Tower - Longevity Hall (you can get a free copy of the Infinite Life Sutra and a small card) - Main Hall Green Tara Hall (with Kangxi's 'Merciful Clouds Western Shade' hanging above, and prayer wheels along the corridor to pray for blessings and disaster relief) - Guan Yu Hall (west side of the main hall)/God of Wealth Hall (east side of the main hall) - Thousand Buddha Hall - Sutra Depository - Prayer Wall (the colorful prayer flags are really beautiful against the blue sky and red walls, where you can leave your wishes). 5. If you have enough time, you can walk along the red wall, and there is also the ancient city wall of Xi'an on the left, which is great for taking pictures! 6. Enter the temple gate with your left hand and exit with your right hand; women should step with their right foot first, and men with their left foot, and do not step on the threshold. 7. Some highlights that must not be missed: the original text of the Kangxi 'Imperial Guangren Temple Stele' and the stele itself, the Qianlong-donated white marble lotus pond, the life-size statue of the twelve-year-old Buddha and the Tang Dynasty lotus throne it sits on, and the ever-burning eternal lamp. 8.
