Tianzhuang, located in the center of Phoenix Town, about 2 kilometers away from Phoenix Mountain, was founded by Qian Hong in the Ming Dynasty for the convenience of collecting farm rent, originally named Tianzhuang. It reached its peak during the Qianlong and Jiaqing years of the Qing Dynasty, and was one of the four famous towns in Changshu, known as 'Gold Gu Mountain, Silver Tianzhuang'. Tianzhuang consists of four streets, among which the North Street is the most representative, with many Ming and Qing buildings inside. Tianzhuang North Street, starting from Tianzhuang Middle Street in the south and Xinglong Bridge in the north, is 280 meters long and 2 meters wide.
