It faces north and south, and the city is slightly diamond-shaped. The city walls are 880.4 meters long from east to west, 880.7 meters long from north to south, with a perimeter of 3522.2 meters, a height of 12 meters, and an area of 0.78 square kilometers. In ancient times, Wanquan Youwei City was a key town guarding the capital region. On May 25, 2006, Wanquan Youwei City was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
