🌟 I'm thrilled to have experienced the official Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Tour route that just opened in December 2023. The total duration of the trip is 140 minutes, and it was incredibly fulfilling 🧡 🚌 Route: We started from the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge tourism security check area. The whole group departed by bus, passed through the undersea tunnel, visited the Blue Dolphin Island, admired Hong Kong from a close distance, and then the whole group returned on schedule. 📍 The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge spans the Lingdingyang channel, connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao. It is the first mega cross-sea traffic project jointly built by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, and it is the world's longest overall span of a sea-crossing bridge 🌉 📝 The entire trip included professional commentary, and we learned a lot about the background, process, and difficulties encountered during the construction of the bridge. 😯 What impressed me the most was that the main body of the bridge in the sea consists of a large bridge, artificial islands, and an immersed tube tunnel. The construction was extremely challenging and took nine years to complete.
