#2023travelwish POKHARA , NEPAL🇳🇵 🇳🇵 Pokhara It is my wish and recommendation, a medium-sized and very touristy city in Nepal. For lovers of adventure, spirituality, culture and romanticism. To get to Pokhara you can take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara which lasts approximately 45 minutes, many times there are delays due to the weather, by bus it takes around 10 hours and it is something very wild, not highly recommended although it is cheap, 1000 Nepali rupees or 10 us. In pokhara there are many hotels at a good price, all my reservations are handled on trip. The average cost is from 10 us to 30 us per night depending on your needs. I recommend a hotel with breakfast included so you save time and can go out and enjoy the city. The local food is very healthy and natural, you will also find international food and many restaurants, bars and tourist sites near the lake. Most people speak and understand English although their native language is Nepali. You can walk, use a taxi that costs 500 rupees or rent a motorcycle from 1000 rupees per day, I recommend using GPS. You can buy a sim card at the airport with data and minutes at a comfortable price with your passport and a printed passport-type photo, ncell it's my recomendation. There many tourism companies that offer different packages for climbers, light flights, stops, tours, and all kinds of activities, can pay in dollars or rupees. There many exchange houses do not ask for any document. Normally everything is open until 10 pm, only bars and restaurants close later. GANDRUK It is a small town, it is very cold, I recommend you go by bus or jeep because the road is somewhat extreme only for experienced drivers, you can make a hotel reservation by calling and making a bank deposit or on the spot, it is difficult online. The hotels are not very comfortable, but it is worth the trip, and being able to see the great mountains up close at 3000 meters high. It is very cold On your return flight, I recommend being in Kathmandu one day before to take your international flight. The airport is small and there are always delays. To avoid missing your flight you must be in the capital a day before and if you have a connection in another country take delays into account, almost always due to weather. You can use patao jna app in the play store to order food at home, or taxi. Pokhara is one of the many amazing places in nepal, the people are very friendly, spiritual and it is safe. Most budget hotels are located in the central area of Thamel, and the ancient, deep and irregular alleys can satisfy your nostalgia. Durbar Square, here encompasses ancient architectural monuments from the 16th to the 19th century in Nepal. There are more than fifty temples and palaces standing on the square, maintaining their original architectural form and style since the medieval period. The temples and ancient relics in Durbar Square all look very similar. In order to distinguish them, the square can be divided into two parts. The first part includes: Kumari Temple, Narayan Temple, Shiva Temple, and Shiva-Bhawani Temple. The second part of the square includes: the statue of King Pratap Malla, Hanuman Temple, and Kala Bhairav Temple. ❤ Recommended attractions: At the end of the first part of Durbar Square, there is the Shiva-Parvati Temple, located at the corner. This temple, mainly built with red bricks, faces the Kumari Temple across the square. The second part of Plaza de la Doba starts from the statue of King Plata Bumara, which sits high on a pillar. As most of the historical buildings in this area were built under the initiative of King Bumara, later generations erected the statue as a memorial. Located to the left of the statue of King Malla is the Deogarh Treasures Temple, and on top of this temple building is the former king's private prayer room. Facing the statue of the king is the Jokhang Temple, a building constructed in the 17th century with a double sloping roof supported by angled pillars. On the back of the wall of the De Guta Leizhu Temple, there is a large-scale Karl Bairafo relief embedded in the corner of the building. Passing through the ancient ruins where the statue of King Mara is located, there is a series of buildings ahead. Among them, there is a statue standing on the side of the entrance of the Hanuman Monkey God Palace, which is the mount of Prince Rama in the epic "Ramayana".

#2023travelwish Kathmandu Durbar Square is located in the central of Kathmandu the capital of Nepal and it is the must where we have to visit. It takes time walk around and it would be nice if we can arrive before 4 PM. so we will have enough time to visit the palace/museum. Souvenirs price in this area are not really expensive, we can buy them here if we don’t have enough time for shopping. There are many surrounding restaurants, suggest to spend time here 2-3 hours. Next destination in my wish is another mysterious city… Machu Picchu….

Bhaktapur’s stunning royal architecture

We had the pleasure of stopping by Bhaktapur Durbar Square and wandering through this beautiful historical district. These buildings and temples have been so well preserved; it’s an incredible feat, and a testament to the locals’ appreciation of their royal roots here. It truly feels as if you’re walking amongst them in the time period they were occupied by royalty, which was around 14th century! A lot of appreciation and respect towards the government and locals who value these structures so much, and take pride in their ancestors work to such an extent. #bhaktapur #Nepal #architecture

Nepals Pottery Square is located on the south side of Bad Dumbard Square and is one of its important components. The square has a thousand years of history, hand-made ceramics since ancient times, adhering to traditional crafts. In a remote alley in the square, there is a kiln still in use today. These clay pots used to be used for sacrifices in the past, but they are now commonly used in people's lives. It is reported that most of the pottery tanks in Nepal originate from this. One of world heritage located in Kathmandu Nepal. The Boudhanath Stupa is very similar to the Swayambhunath Stupa, only it is bigger and enjoys better symmetry. Boudhnath Stupa is famous for sight seeing . For foreign people the ticket price is 250Npr per person. The Boudhanath stupa is a historical pilgrimage site for all the Buddhists around the world. It was built right after the demise of Lord Buddha during the 5th century AD.

Stayed in Kathmandu for a month and everything about it was magical😍. Although it was summer, the weather in kathmandu was perfect. It was hot during daytime but cool at night time. We had rainy days which helped with the summer heat and it was just perfect compared to other cities in Nepal, which were just extremely hot. We stayed in an apartment near boudha and the view was just amazing no matter what time of the day you see it. Especially the Boudhanath Stupa, it was just majestic and magical, you just get a feeling of relief when you watch it, its pleasing to the eye and the soul, it was really fun doing circles around boudha. Kathmandu is very lively in the day time but even livelier at night. We did frequent thamel which is the place to experience proper nightlife in nepal, it just doesnt sleep. We went to club Platinum , Senate and LOD and had the best experience ever drinking and doing shisha with friends and locals🍾🤩. #2023travelwish Swayambhunath Stupa is an ancient religion complex on top of the hill in Kathmandu valley in Nepal, not far from city center of Kathmandu. There are the steps to the top of the hill and the other way there is a car park on the hill available if we go by private car or taxi. Entrance fee is 50-200 Rps depends on countries. There are lots of monkey so has to be careful. Walking meditation around the stupa and enjoy the panoramic view of the city is nice. PS. INCA trail will be next…
