Hotels with Parking in Chongqing

For Teachers' Day, I planned a Chongqing staycation and booked a room at the Akelai Hotel. The lobby had a strong French retro vibe, and the location was excellent, right next to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, with a shopping mall directly opposite, making dining and shopping very convenient. I booked a high-floor river view room. The room was spacious, and the warm lighting was very comfortable. It came with a vanity table, a soft sofa, and a bathtub. After a day of city walking, coming back to a relaxing bath instantly melted away the fatigue. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view. From the sofa, I could see the Twin Towers and cruise ships slowly passing on the Jialing River. Quietly enjoying the river view, it truly captured the atmosphere of a mountain city. After checking in, I went to the outdoor area of the lobby bar for afternoon tea. Surrounded by greenery, I enjoyed a drink while feeling the breeze.

Choosing the right hotel really makes traveling so much easier! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had no strange odors. The bedding was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and even turned on the air conditioning before we arrived. The hotel is close to the scenic spots, making it very convenient for getting around. The environment is quiet and safe, with excellent facilities and plenty of toiletries. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it's definitely worth coming back to.

Although this hotel belongs to a different sister brand under the same parent company, it still holds up as an exceptional addition to their portfolio. The hotel is housed within the century-old Ren'ai Hall in Shancheng Alley, originally built as a French church over a hundred years ago. Restoring and transforming it into a boutique hotel not only preserves the historic architecture but also gives it a meaningful new life—a truly brilliant concept. Honestly, before arriving, I never would have imagined staying in a repurposed church! The entire property exudes an artistic vibe, blending seamlessly with the local heritage. Even the lamps in the guest rooms are handcrafted by local intangible cultural heritage masters; the whole place feels like an art palace. The rooms are spacious, staying true to Sunyata's philosophy of never compromising on space just to squeeze in more rooms—every room and every guest is treated with genuine care. The layout is well-thought-out, and the thoughtful addition of a stone bench in the shower makes it very accessible for seniors or guests with limited mobility, showing great attention to detail. The amenities are comprehensive, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The minibar not only includes soft drinks but also a co-branded Meijian plum liqueur, complete with recipe cards showing you how to mix simple cocktails—definitely worth trying! All in all, out of more than a dozen top-tier domestic brands and viral, non-standard boutique stays I've experienced in China, Sunyata remains unmatched. Especially for the price point, it delivers the absolute best value for money within its tier. 👍

STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Yang, Xiao Yi, and Master Li for their care during my stay. They were kind, professional, warm, patient, and proactive. They were also incredibly accommodating with my inability to speak more than a little Chinese. Xiao Yang even made a point to speak English with me during breakfast and checkout. Master Li was very tolerant with my last-minute requests for pickup and drop off and Xiao Yi quickly located and added me on WeChat to allow us to chat more comfortably. As it was raining, she even met me by the car with an umbrella when I arrived. I felt quite pampered! DIRECTIONS: To reach the hotel requires a few transfers. It's not too troublesome and is well worth it! 1) I arrived at the Wulong South Railway 🚉 and followed the exit signs outside. 2) To the left was the large blue bus 🚌 mentioned by another reviewer. It will take you to the Fairy Mountain Visitor Center for 16 yuan. From here you can reach the most popular tourist destinations in Wulong to include the Three Bridges. 3) Outside the center you’ll find another blue fairy bus which will take you to the mountain itself for an additional 8 yuan. This bus will stop at the gate where tickets will be checked. Be sure to contact the hotel and give them your information before you set off because the cost of this ticket is included with your stay! They will reserve the ticket for you and send you confirmation and any relevant information. Otherwise, it is 50 yuan per person. 4) This bus will drop you off at a plaza with a few shops and the boarding platform for the scenic train. 🚂 Contact the hotel and someone will come to pick you up, as private vehicles are not permitted beyond this point. REVIEW: If availability and your budget permit, I cannot emphasize strongly enough how much it is worth it to splurge on the room with a 270-degree view of the property. I went on a foggy, wet weekend and still found the view incredible. The windows cover three walls. I can only imagine how amazing the sky must look on a clear night. The minibar has a good selection of free snacks and drinks and a sampling of the local tea. Meals are also served at the hotel. The cost is not low, but for the exclusivity of the location, I considered it more than fair compared to what I’ve paid elsewhere. Also, the dishes looked and tasted great. There are also vendors down the hill where the train and shops (show in the picture below) are located. Look for the sign identifying the train exit and go down the steps. These were the only places I saw to purchase food, drinks, or supplies once you pass the entrance to the mountain, so plan accordingly. By the way, tickets for the scenic train were included with the reservation as well. I highly recommend it. It stops at the grasslands and the horse stables. Now, I will allow the pictures to speak for me. TLDR: Multiple transfers lead to a place that is secluded and picturesque and right in the heart of the mountain. That means your dining choices will also be limited, but the meals provided (at a cost) were delicious. Tickets to the mountain and scenic train are included in the price. A photo session is included as well, but I did not utilize it. I recommend setting out earlier to miss the worst of the crowds. The staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The room with the 270-degree view offers the best experience. 10/10 recommend for those seeking quiet and the peace only nature can bring. 🏞

Extremely comfortable with excellent service. They were very patient and helpful whenever we had an issue, especially Mr. Qifeng from the front desk who went above and beyond by helping us load our luggage into the car before leaving. Highly recommend!

This was my first time booking a hotel in Chongqing on my own. I wanted to be near Hongyadong with river views and easy access, so I found Beichen Riverview Hotel. The price was reasonable, and I didn't have high expectations, but the room completely exceeded them! I missed the closest parking lot, so I called the front desk. The lady there told me the Cangbai Road parking lot was cheaper and even came to meet me there personally. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was high quality, and I got upgraded to a riverview king room – facing the big river felt amazing. The service attitude was excellent. It was a wonderful stay. I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

The room was clean and tidy, the hotel facilities were complete, and the service was top-notch. I forgot something when checking out, and before I even walked 300m away, a reminder call came in – excellent service! Plus, the hotel is right next to Jiefangbei, upstairs, and only a 5-minute walk from Linjiangmen subway station. There are plenty of food and drink options downstairs, super convenient.

The location and facilities are great, and the front desk service is also very good. The only unsatisfactory part was that after we parked our car, a hotel bellman (bald, wearing a poorly made, ill-fitting suit) came over in a scolding manner and ordered us to move the car forward a bit. I actually understood what he meant—if I moved forward a bit more, the space behind us would be just enough for another car to park. However, his communication style was extremely rude and authoritarian. After we followed his instructions and parked, he just turned around and walked away without saying a word, as if he was gloating over his own petty authority. Can the hotel please train this kind of staff? Actually, when I parked here yesterday, I encountered the exact same situation. The space left by the cars in front of and behind me was very tight—much smaller than the space left today. Yet, no one came out to 'order' the drivers of those cars to move! Furthermore, when I parked yesterday, the car right in front of mine had just parked, and I didn't see anyone coming out to 'order' them around! Compared to the Hilton we just stayed at, this place falls way short.

Stayed at my dream hotel in Chongqing!!! When visiting Chongqing, I always choose to stay near Jiefangbei. It's incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, shopping, and transportation! The lobby has a cyberpunk style, and the hotel rooms are all high up, making every photo a stunner. The room itself is cozy and comfortable, with a children's bed and a baby play area – so thoughtful! There's a smart toilet and comfortable bedding. The front desk even gives out snacks, and the self-service laundry room with a dryer is super convenient. It's perfect for couples, friends, and families. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong!
