The service was excellent. Luggage can be checked in and out, and the process is well-managed through a mobile app, allowing you to track its status at any time. Checking in felt a bit like a lucky dip, as all the Wuzhen guesthouses are part of the same complex, and you don't know which specific building you'll get. However, it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! Our guesthouse was right behind Zhaoming Academy, centrally located in Xizha and not too far from the exit. All the guesthouses are old buildings, and the interiors are beautifully decorated! The best part was not only that the guesthouse was surrounded by water on two sides, but our room was also right by the water. Lying in bed, watching the rippling patterns on the ceiling and listening to the birds chirp was incredibly relaxing. The air conditioning was already turned on before we arrived. Breakfast was fantastic; we sat outside by the water, surrounded by flowers. There were also some services we didn't use, like the free shuttle buggies within the scenic area, which you can call for when you're leaving. But we didn't end up using them.

This is my second stay at this hotel, following a visit in April this year. I was in Hangzhou for five days and four nights, and it's become my go-to choice whenever I visit the city. The hotel's location is excellent. You can easily reach it from both Hangzhou East Station and City Station via Metro Line 1. Getting to scenic spots is incredibly convenient, with metro and bus stops nearby. West Lake is just a ten-minute walk away. Famous century-old Hangzhou restaurants like Zhi Wei Guan and Kui Yuan Guan are also within a ten-minute walk. Qinghefang, Wushan, and Orioles Singing in the Willows are all within walking distance too. The hotel environment is pleasant, and the rooms are clean. I was very satisfied with the front desk and room service; they were quick to respond to guest requests. The package I booked through Ctrip offered great value for money, making it perfect for couples and families.

AAnonymous User 2026.06.16
Facilities: The facilities are relatively old. The shower water in the room kept fluctuating between hot and cold. The telephone was unusable due to a damaged cable, which made calling the shuttle very inconvenient. We booked the Far Mountain Family Room, and the reservation stated it could accommodate three adults, but all the supplies were for two people. When we requested an extra toothbrush cup, we were told the room is for two adults and one child, so there were only two sets of adult toiletries. They kept emphasizing that they could give me a cup, but only a plastic one for children, which was quite frustrating. Although it's advertised as child-friendly, I saw almost no mother-and-baby facilities. Compared to some of the more popular family hotels nowadays, the difference is significant. Hygiene: The second floor of the Far Mountain Family Room was much smaller than expected, and there were small bugs in the room. At breakfast in Lumingxuan, the floor was slippery, and I almost slipped several times. A child at the next table even fell down. Environment: The air in the manor is fresh, and there are many animals and birds living here. Small animals often roam on the paths, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The giraffes are the biggest highlight and quite interesting. However, feeding all the small animals comes with a fee, ranging from 20 to 30 yuan for a small portion, which is really tiny and not good value for money. Service: Breakfast with the giraffes is a major attraction at the Giraffe Manor. We went in the morning hoping to queue for a window seat, but the management was chaotic. There was no queue; finding a window seat was entirely up to luck. Some people would stand by a table or place their bags next to people who were already dining to wait for a spot. There were also people live-streaming on their phones, selling hotel packages in the restaurant, which greatly affected the dining experience. My child needed warm water for milk, but they only had boiling water. When I asked for a bottle of mineral water, the server said the restaurant wasn't part of the hotel and would charge for it. As a family-friendly hotel, the contrast between the live-streamers praising it and the reality was striking. Almost all the entertainment activities in the manor close at 5 PM, so evenings can be quite boring. The scenic shuttle bus is very slow, especially when it rained that day. Staff told us it would arrive in two minutes and we could go downstairs, but we waited with our child in the rain for more than five minutes. In short, every time they said it was coming, it always took a long time to arrive. Welcome fruit: Very fresh and delicious, my child loved the cherry tomatoes. Room MINIBAR: It didn't match the pictures on Trip.com. There were no golden sprouts or other items suitable for young babies. I heard the supplier changed, but the pictures on Trip.com haven't been updated. Summary: The hotel's scenery and outdoor environment are excellent. It's spacious, the air is fresh, there are many small animals, and the giraffes are super cute. If you love small animals and want to get close to giraffes, I recommend coming here. However, for the 1799 yuan we paid for the Far Mountain Family Room this time, I feel it wasn't good value for money. Almost all activities within the scenic area are charged, and some of the complimentary items in the package were free anyway. The most expensive was feeding the small animals; 30 yuan for about 10 carrot sticks, roughly the length of a finger. The internal management, service, and environmental hygiene all need improvement.

Hardware: The room has a chic French-inspired design with floor-to-ceiling windows and vintage green furniture. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the space is generous and cozy. Software: The staff are all young, friendly women who are polite and attentive. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and they deliver ice cream and coffee every day. Other: There's a rooftop garden where you can relax for a bit. It's also very convenient to get to different places. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. I'll definitely come back again!

I stayed at your hotel before my flight from Xiaoshan to Xinjiang. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any airport noise at all. The hotel also offers a service for a fast track through airport security, which is a fantastic added value! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

This hotel is tucked away in a city alley, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. Its name, inspired by West Lake, already wins half the battle with its charming Jiangnan (south of the Yangtze River) allure. 😍 🎨 The artistic vibe is truly off the charts—the lobby and hallways resemble a small art museum. With low-saturation colors, natural wood, and green plants, every corner is picture-perfect. The rooms feature a minimalist, light luxury design, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent natural light. When the sun streams in during the day, you instantly feel relaxed. 🛏️ The room details are spot on: the bedding is skin-friendly, and the mattress has just the right firmness. Smart room controls, a smart toilet, and a hairdryer are lovely little touches. The wet and dry areas are perfectly separated and clean, and the toiletries smell delightful. 🧹 The hygiene is impeccable; every nook and cranny is spotless, making you feel secure the moment you step in. The elevator requires a key card for access, which adds to the sense of privacy. 💁 The service is attentive without being intrusive: The front desk staff are enthusiastic and processed my check-in quickly. They even proactively recommended delicious Hangzhou cuisine nearby and walking routes (a stroll along the Grand Canal is absolutely fantastic!). Luggage storage is also convenient, so I could continue exploring after check-out without any stress. 📍 The location is also quite convenient. It's close to West Lake whether you ride an e-bike or take a taxi. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and you can even wander through the night market in the evening.

This hotel used to be an IBIS, but now that they're independent, the savings are passed on to guests, making it great value for money. The vibe is perfect for backpackers, with creative artwork featuring names and images from around the world on the room walls. The location is excellent; you can take the subway directly to the airport and Ningbo Railway Station. Just exit from Gulou Subway Station's Exit A and it's a five-minute walk. Gulou itself is also about a ten-minute walk away. The area is quiet. In the evening, they even bring you warm milk – a nice touch! The front desk staff are very friendly.

This hotel is perfect for families with kids. They offer a shuttle service to and from the scenic area, and it's also conveniently located right next to the entrance. The breakfast spread is fantastic – I highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel's breakfast. Afterward, you can check out Zaocha Ke, where you can order individual breakfast items à la carte... it's not too expensive either.

I chose Lanli after much deliberation and reading countless reviews for hotels near the Convention and Exhibition Center, where my daughter was exhibiting. We stayed for four nights and three days. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's just a few steps from Exit D of Nanyang Station on Line 1. I was really pleased that the room didn't have carpeting, the linens were spotless and odorless, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The room was spacious enough that we could open two suitcases without feeling cramped, and it came with a mini-fridge. Across the street is Dexin Wing, a small mall with various dining options, including fast food, Chinese restaurants, bubble tea shops, and common coffee chains. There's a ramen place that's delicious, and the Hangzhou-exclusive bubble tea is fantastic. On B1 of the mall, there's a good-sized supermarket, perfect for stocking up on essentials. Breakfast was also good, and the freshly ground coffee was a highlight. Next door is a residential complex, and for some reason, for two consecutive mornings, very loud music started playing early. The first day was different; I woke up to birds chirping, and when I opened the window after a rain shower, there was a fresh, clean scent of flowers and plants. Aside from being a bit far from the city center, everything else was great. Exit D also has shared bikes available, and it's just one stop from the East Gate of the Convention and Exhibition Center, making it convenient whether you bike, take the metro, or walk. Overall, I recommend staying here. I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the online pictures are very accurate.

GGuest UserThe environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜. I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful. It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station. I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

YYiluzizaiIf you're visiting Hangzhou, West Lake is a must-see, and if you're seeing West Lake, this hotel is the place to stay! It's literally right across the road from West Lake, and Wulin Night Market is just downstairs. You're practically staying at two attractions at once! Plus, every room has a balcony, and there's a large rooftop garden platform with panoramic views of West Lake and the surrounding area. The rooms are incredibly spacious; even a standard room here is easily the biggest I've ever stayed in. Seriously, for West Lake, this hotel is a no-brainer!

GGuest UserI guess I'm a loyal customer of this hotel in Xian Mountain, Qiandao Lake. I've been there twenty times, and every time I visit Qiandao Lake, I still choose this hotel. There's a unique sense of appropriateness here – they don't seem to be merely providing service, but rather 'taking care' of you, making you feel like entering the hotel truly marks the beginning of a vacation: free, comfortable, pleasant, and warm! I felt it the moment I arrived. The car had barely stopped at the entrance when the bellhop scurried over to open the car door, greeting us with a smiling 'Hello, welcome home.' After we checked in, a bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage, introducing himself as he led us to the elevator: 'If you need anything these next few days, just call the concierge. My name is Henry.' He was a bright and efficient young man with a constant smile. Just hearing him say that, and seeing his smile, made you feel like he wasn't just completing a task, but genuinely inviting you to reach out, all to put your mind at ease! On the day we checked in, I casually asked if there were any good running routes nearby and what fun things there were to do. Henry actually took the time to draw me a map, explaining the hotel's layout, where I could run, where I could cycle, where I could hike, where I could pick bayberries, and where I could eat. He even reminded me, 'Before 6:30 AM, the boardwalk is less crowded. If you like photography, you can go and take pictures of the sunrise; it’s really beautiful.' The next morning, we indeed went to the lighthouse and the camphor tree forest. When we returned, dripping with sweat, we ran into him again in the lobby. He enthusiastically asked, 'Finished your run? The weather's great today, how was it?' – just like an old friend I'd known for ages. It feels wonderful to be remembered! Another time, our group of ten went to the hotel. In the evening, he led us to chase the sunset. We walked cheerfully along the path on Xian Mountain Peninsula. He walked in front, constantly describing the surrounding scenery and sharing stories of past guests, occasionally turning back to make sure everyone was still with us. In that moment, it didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like being shown around by a local old friend, listening to him share everything about the area… The hotel is now called InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, and everything is still as beautiful and comfortable in that resort style. The moment you step into your hotel room and open the door, the entire Qiandao Lake unfolds before your eyes. You can't help but think: 'This is exactly what I wanted!' The mist and mountain breeze intertwine, a gentle drizzle, so comfortable you don't want to move. The bedding was just the right firmness, and I swapped my pillow for a buckwheat one, sleeping soundly until my alarm went off – which is quite rare in a hotel. The breakfast restaurant is also the most extensive among similar hotels, with a vast array of dishes prepared meticulously. There were six or seven kinds of green leafy vegetables for the salad alone, and a variety of dressings. There was also a young man making fresh squeezed juice, busy but with a good-natured smile on his face all morning long… So, what does staying in a hotel mean, you ask? Is it just staying for two nights, looking at the lake, and eating fish head? Actually, it's about enjoying the service the hotel provides, not just the 'hello, thank you, sorry' routine, but feeling that someone truly cares about your feelings, your needs, and your mood! InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort doesn't feel like staying in a hotel to me; it feels more like visiting a friend's home who truly understands you. You want to go back every now and then to see your old friend and everything you hold dear! The lake view is beautiful, but what makes me want to keep returning are those warm moments I remember… The lake views will stay in our photo albums and on our phones, but those people and those moments of being treated with kindness will always remain in my heart…

GGuest UserThe room was nice and very clean, but the TV couldn't screen mirror, so it felt a bit lacking in smart features. The three meals overall were decent, with a good variety of ingredients, not just an afterthought. Here are a couple of things that weren't great about the dining experience: 1. The BBQ area was a pretty bad experience. A large group of people were queuing, and by the time it was your turn, the food might be gone – and this wasn't even a holiday! The chef was grilling on-site, and perhaps due to the heavy workload with so many people, he constantly had a sour expression. 2. I asked the lady at the noodle station three times if there were any more chicken feet next to her, and she just ignored me! *Sigh*.

GGuest UserEvery time I'm on a business trip to Ningbo, I stay here; it feels just like home. The service is excellent, with a WeChat concierge almost 24/7, always ready to help with anything you need. Especially Miya, who always contacts me in advance before my check-in to reserve my preferred room. The hotel breakfast is very good. The hotel facilities are top-notch among domestic five-star hotels. The gym is huge, and there's also a sauna, yoga room, squash court, and a tennis court with a dedicated coach, which is very convenient. The only downside is the slow Wi-Fi. Personally, I think this hotel ranks first among all the five-star hotels in Ningbo for its overall offerings.

GGuest UserAnji has a dense network of hotels and guesthouses, making the choice incredibly difficult before our trip. After comparing many options online, we finally settled on the ”Fulan” room type at this guesthouse, which appears to be on the highest floor. The moment the door opened, my husband and I were overjoyed, praising the room's beauty: lush green bamboo groves and three large floor-to-ceiling windows! It was simply the perfect escape from the city for relaxation! The receptionists were incredibly nice. They created a service group before our check-in to help with our luggage and direct parking – so thoughtful and attentive! A big thumbs up! The only downside was the lack of an elevator; it felt a little awkward asking them to carry things up the stairs whenever we wanted something. The room had a Marshall sound system and other amenities. Connecting to Bluetooth and playing soothing music while soaking in the hot spring was incredibly relaxing! A few minor suggestions: 1. The bathroom could have two floor mats, one for the hot spring area and one for the shower. It's quite slippery after coming out of the hot spring. 2. The bathroom leak wasn't very effective; water would overflow if you showered for too long. 3. For this price and environment, it would be even better if the room had a coffee machine and coffee cups. It would be much more convenient to have coffee in the room or on the terrace in the morning, instead of having to go downstairs and bother the front desk every time. 4. I hope the breakfast could be more varied, with more hot options. Overall, I was very satisfied with this weekend trip! I will definitely come again!
