The hotel is conveniently located right next to Junction City shopping mall and directly across from Holy Trinity Cathedral. It's also adjacent to Bogyoke Aung San Market, where you can find jewelry and other goods. Shwedagon Pagoda, Chinatown, and other attractions are all within walking distance, and Shwedagon Pagoda is just a 6-minute drive away, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and sightseeing. The hotel boasts four specialty restaurants and one bar, catering to diverse tastes. Hai Tien Lo is an award-winning Cantonese restaurant offering stunning views of the Yangon River and Shwedagon Pagoda. Saan restaurant serves international cuisine all day, while Pacific Marketplace provides a lavish breakfast with a wide array of dishes including Okonomiyaki and Indian food. The Teak Bar allows guests to enjoy cocktails with panoramic views of the Yangon skyline. Unfortunately, when we visited, there was only a menu but no staff, possibly due to fewer guests in winter. The infinity pool on the third floor is a major highlight of the hotel. Despite being in the bustling city center, it offers excellent views and scenery, perfect for photos. It's open from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM and features a poolside bar. The adjacent gym is well-equipped with new facilities, and guests can access it at night with their room key. The hotel also offers sauna and spa facilities, ideal for relaxation. This time, I stayed on the 10th floor, and the room felt a bit dated. The rooms on the 13th floor have already been renovated and are quite grand. Speaking of grand, I have to mention the lobby on the R floor – it's very stylish. Just look at the pictures! I stayed overnight in Yangon. I was able to check in early in the morning, so I had a great rest. The hotel was in a great location, and I was very satisfied. I would definitely stay here again.

The environment is fantastic, and the breakfast is abundant, hygienic, and delicious. It comes with a swimming pool, gym, and other amenities. There's also an in-house buffet for dinner, and outdoor BBQ options on the lower level. Overall, it's a great experience.

This is perhaps one of few premium hotels that are still considerate to smoking patrons and offer smoking rooms which is why I selected it. My room was on the 3rd floor, with direct access to the pool. The room was clean, spacious and modestly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, delivering wide assortment and variety. There is a night club on site, however closed with anticipated opening from April 2026. The gym is clean and fully equipped. Look forward to staying here again.

Meliá has a very good location, just opposite Inya Lake. While the interior design is simple and not very modern, the facilities and service are great. It would be nice if a sauna and jacuzzi were available and provide briefing while check in. The breakfast is amazing. I was surprised to see both a café counter and an ice cream counter during the breakfast session. However, they did not offer any complimentary service for birthday or anniversary requests.

The reception staff was extremely helpful, from guiding me around the city to any other requests I had I was unwell on my last days in Yangon and the staff helped me with a late checkout I appreciate all their help and assistance and extremely good service The hotel is in the middle of china town and lots of shops and hawkers for food and fresh fruit are around Hotel is walking distance to downtown and sule pagoda

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s formerly known as Rosewood Yangon and now reopened for 8 months. Everything is excellent, very friendly, patient and helpful staff, extraordinary service. The hotel’s history dates back to 1927 so it’s absolutely a historical building. The decoration is very exquisite, breakfast is tasty and there are many choices. The location is also good and safe, very near to Sule Plaza, General Post Office and British Embassy. On terrace you can see the river view. I want to especially express my gratitude to Vanessa and Swar, they provided me with a lot of detailed information so I can know more about this hotel, this city and this country. Please make sure they can receive this feedback and my appreciation! Meanwhile, the front desk Moo Thaw, Luca showed me the hospitality. I wanted to stay for a long time, so I stayed at ３ this time. The head of the shower attached to the bathtub is so gravy that it can be taken now, and it is taken when it is used, and it is told the next morning to sightseeing. He was fixing it when he returned from sightseeing, and there was an apology message on the desk. Breakfast was an order system from the menu, but when I told him that I wanted to eat fruit, he was willing to prepare it. The honey on the yogurt was very delicious and I took a picture of the package. I searched at the supermarket in Yangon and Mandalay, but I couldn't find it, and when I emailed where I could buy it later, there was no reply after I received a reply to confirm it with the charge. After all, with the cooperation of local friends, I had a honey company deliver it to the hotel where I was staying. On the day of moving to Mandalay, check-out was before 4 o'clock, but they prepared a box, including tuna sandwiches, boiled *, fruit platter, bread, and latte. It was the most luxurious breakfast box I have ever been to Myanmar. Thank you very much.

The Inya Lake Hotel is a bit dated but very well-maintained, quietly situated in a beautiful park. The service is excellent – ​​from the porters to the reception staff (Dan Dan!, Min, and Kaung deserve special mention) to the room service. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the restaurant in general is very good. There's a lovely pool with its own café. You could easily spend days here without ever feeling the need to leave.

Hotel G Yangon is a very modern and stylish hotel with a great atmosphere. Everything is extremely clean and well maintained. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful – truly one of the highlights of the stay. The location is excellent, and having security on site at night adds an extra sense of safety. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Yangon. Highly recommended!
