"Came to Wuhan with a friend, and we just randomly picked a four-star hotel on Jianghan Road. The price wasn't expensive, but it really felt like excellent value for money! The hotel staff provided very attentive and thoughtful service. Our takeout orders were delivered to our room quickly by a little robot – super efficient! The hotel lobby thoughtfully provided snacks and drinks. I highly recommend every guest try the lemon iced tea; it's absolutely delicious, perfectly sweet, and very refreshing. And the cleanliness, well, it goes without saying, absolutely spotless. Wuhan was quite hot, and the tourist spots were crowded and noisy, but staying at your hotel was truly a joy. I traveled to many big cities and stayed in many hotels this summer, but my experience at Shuiyunlan was the best! (These are all genuine reviews; if I were a shill, I'd never get rich, hehehe)"

"I came here specifically to visit Mao Zedong's former residence with my child. The Donghu Hotel, located within the East Lake Scenic Area, is a self-contained property. Upon arrival, staff inquire about your purpose before allowing vehicle entry, and there's a private road leading in. There's also a parking lot right at the hotel entrance, which made me feel quite secure. The service was attentive; after checking into the Nanshan B-Section Standard Room with a view that I booked, I received a complimentary fruit platter. The room itself was well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The hotel buildings each have their own unique charm, and the lush greenery makes it feel like a forest – a natural oxygen bar. From my room's balcony, I had a view of the greenway and the shimmering lake. It was raining moderately when we arrived, and I'd never seen the lake so turbulent, with waves crashing one after another. There's a dedicated shuttle bus that takes guests to the side entrance of the Hubei Provincial Museum, which is incredibly convenient as it's just a stone's throw away. After exploring the museum, I simply called the front desk, and they sent the shuttle to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. My only regret is that due to the rain, I couldn't take a walk on the greenway to enjoy the scenery; I only managed a brief glimpse. I'll definitely come back with my child next time to experience the unique landscape again."

"Absolutely fantastic! It's so clean and bright, with all the amenities you could ask for. I especially loved the projector, and the bathtub was a close second! All the tissues and toiletries provided are single-use, and I was so surprised they even had bath towels and toilet seat covers – and the tissues were still sealed! It felt incredibly clean and hygienic, with amazing attention to detail. The owner and house manager were also super thoughtful and attentive; they proactively asked if I wanted housekeeping, but only emptied the trash without touching my personal belongings. Security was great too, with a coded main door and an extra lock from the inside. The lake view is stunning! My two-night stay was incredibly relaxing. This was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and it was a superb experience!"

"I was pleasantly surprised to find such a clean room on this trip. There were no strange odors, and although the facilities were simple, everything was in good working order. The hotel staff were all great; whenever I had an issue, they'd resolve it promptly. It offers excellent value for money, and I'm quite satisfied."

"I initially chose this hotel for its location and architectural style, but it turned out to be comfortable in every aspect. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room had a pleasant fragrance throughout. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was also good. Both the cafe and restaurant were aesthetically pleasing and served delicious food. Especially noteworthy was the travel photographer – he had such a great personality and was incredibly thoughtful throughout the shoot. There was no need to deliberately pose; his candid shots told a story, and the final photos were high quality. If you're looking to take photos here, he's definitely the one to choose."

"Nice and affordable hotel in Wuhan, with very convenient location in the middle of a night market and walking distance to the main commercial street. The room is clean, complete with large projector tv and smart controls. There is literally a very lively night market selling food, clothes, accessories, which start at sunset and finish around midnight. This can be a plus point for those who want to discover very local night market, but can be noisy for those wanting to sleep early. Noise continues until 1am so I suggest bringing ear plugs. The entrance to the hotel unfortunately passes by the trash point of the next door bbq restaurant, so have to bear 5 seconds of smelliness everytime you go in and out of the hotel. The receptionist was very nice and suggested some good recommendations for food."
