2024zhongqiLeaving the beautiful East Lake Hotel, I felt a deep sense of reluctance. I chose to stay here because my father, during his time in the air force, often arranged recuperation stays here, and I wanted to retrace his steps. To my surprise, this place offered so many wonderful surprises.
Here are a few things that left a lasting impression:
**Ambiance and Service:** The room design was spacious, and the service definitely exceeded my expectations. They uphold the standards and attitudes of serving Chinese and foreign dignitaries, making you feel like a VIP. It seems they aren't chasing good reviews or KPIs; they're simply focused on making you happy.
**Environment:** You absolutely have to trust Chairman Mao's aesthetic taste. The variety of animals and plants living in harmony makes the natural environment a paradise for photography enthusiasts. For regular tourists, every casual snap turns into a beautiful shot.
**Exclusive Access:** This hotel is part of the beautiful East Lake Ecological Scenic Area, yet it's also the hotel's private domain. This means you can wander through a beautiful and tranquil environment. We chose to stay in the relatively new Tingtao No. 2 building. There are shuttle buggies within the park that can take you to Chairman Mao's former residence for a visit. They can also drop you off at a small gate closest to the Hubei Provincial Museum, so you just cross the road and you're there, without needing any other transportation. For your return trip, you can simply have the hotel's buggy pick you up at the entrance. If you enjoy history, the Hubei Provincial Museum offers free, rich, and fascinating collections that will make you want to visit again and again.
**Peace of Mind:** The dining was clean, hygienic, and abundant. We had two breakfasts and one lunch, and there wasn't a single flaw. If you're traveling with elderly family members or young children and are worried about getting an upset stomach, choosing to dine here offers delicious and reassuring options. The quality of the breakfast 'mianwo' (a local fried savory cake) and 'youtiao' (fried dough sticks) was particularly outstanding. Such simple, everyday food was prepared so well it left a lasting impression, and even the plain boiled eggs were top-quality small, local eggs.
The East Lake Hotel possesses immense charm. It truly lives up to the unique advantages of a military sanatorium's chosen location. I will definitely return.

Extremely satisfied! I mentioned my preferences at check-in, and the front desk upgraded me to a river-view room and allowed a late check-out, which was incredibly accommodating. The hotel facilities aren't brand new, but they are very clean and meticulously maintained. The location is perfect, with many attractions nearby, making it super convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. It really shows the quality you expect from an established five-star hotel. I'll definitely book the Mingzhu again next time I'm in Wuhan.

Anonymous UserThis hotel's strengths go beyond just its location; it's the warm and excellent service that truly stands out. They anticipate guests' needs and address them proactively. In my short three-day stay, every staff member I encountered was outstanding. The employee at restaurant station 66, the lady making the hot dry noodles, greeted everyone with a smile every morning. And a slightly older staff member at the front desk (I apologize for not getting your employee ID!), went above and beyond to help us twice, even though it wasn't strictly part of her duties. On our last morning, it started pouring rain, and the concierge proactively offered to drive us. Overall, this seemingly ordinary hotel provided service comparable to a five-star establishment. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Wuhan.

The room was pretty good. I stayed with my family for a few days. The hotel is right on the street, so it's super easy to catch a taxi. Just cross the road and you're at Yanjiang Avenue. The weather was lovely these past few days, perfect for a walk and watching the sunset. If you need anything during your stay, you can just ask the hotel staff. All in all, it was a good stay.

YuexigegeThe room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. My child had a blast playing in the pool, and the changing rooms and showers by the pool were really convenient. The dinner buffet, in particular, offered excellent quality food. The hotel also had outdoor activities suitable for both kids and adults, like a mini-train and fish catching games. It was quite busy on the weekend, so checking in and getting our room took a bit longer than expected.

Guest Uservery good! Very satisfied! This is our third time to stay here. We had an unforgettable time in Tree House No. 9 of Honghu Yuexi Peninsula. The tree house is surrounded by green trees, as if it is in the embrace of nature, with a quiet environment and fresh air. The room is uniquely designed, fully equipped, and meticulously detailed. The service staff is enthusiastic and thoughtful, which makes people feel warm. Here, we are away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy true tranquility and comfort. Whether it is the birdsong in the early morning or the starry sky at night, it is intoxicating. This stay experience was perfect and we are very satisfied. We strongly recommend it to everyone who loves nature and pursues quality life!

judybcService: All staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness: The room was cleaned promptly and kept spotless.
Location/Environment: The hotel is conveniently located above a mall, with a subway station right outside. Across the street, there are plenty of great options for breakfast and late-night snacks.
Facilities: I have to say, the hotel is showing its age a bit. The TV was small and blurry, and there was no screen casting available. On the plus side, having a washing machine in the room was a huge convenience for travelers.
One thing to note: the underground parking has a height restriction of 1.8m.

A hot spring resort hotel very close to Wuhan, with complete surrounding facilities, good dining, fitness, hot springs, camping, walking, and photo taking experiences, suitable for family travel. Cathy's service is great, you can consider traveling around Wuhan! This time, it happened to be the opening period of the hot springs, and the elderly and children were very happy. Sister Xiong in the hot spring area was very enthusiastic and gave us a detailed introduction to the distribution and characteristics of each hot spring. There are many service points in the hot spring area, equipped with health tea and dry bath towels, which are well prepared and replaced in time. Recommended experience!

My stay at Yichang Yage Huanju Hotel was fantastic! The location is superb, with a food street just a few steps away, making it super convenient to try all the local specialties. The room was clean and bright, the bedding was soft, and I felt very comfortable. The staff were attentive, responsive, and paid great attention to detail. It offers excellent value for money. If you're visiting Yichang, choosing this hotel is a surefire win – I highly recommend it!

We had an excellent stay here. The room was great, the food was tasty, and the location/views superb. But more than any of that, the next-level service provided by the staff was perhaps the best I have ever received. We had a lot of difficulty navigating the Wudangshan bus system, hiking timing, etc, and the staff were always willing to discuss and solve problems for us over WeChat. Without them our trip would not have been possible. Highly recommend.
