Stayed in Building 18, Guanfangyuan. The room was great, and they even provided welcome fruits and the famous Yangzhou University yogurt! If you have kids, you can call the front desk and ask for a little yellow duck children's toiletry kit, which the kids loved!!! There were also swans and goldfish that were really easy to feed. You can get free fish food and swan food from the front desk! (Only fish food and swan food are free; other animals like cats and rabbits require you to buy food yourself.)
One time, I was craving some Coke, so I wrote a note and put it in the fridge asking for two bottles. To my surprise, the front desk replied with a witty message and sent four bottles of Coke!!! (I didn't upload the picture).
This review is a bit long, but I'm truly very satisfied!!!

Great location of a hotel. Tatami scenic room just window away from passersby, so if enjoying more quiet place, I would recommend rooms upstairs. However, at night the whole location is very quiet, had nice good sleep. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortably equipped. Need an entry ticket, so during the trip was dependent on the shops and restaurants within small area.

Stayed at Pan Pacific Suzhou and had a really pleasant experience overall. The room was very spacious and comfortable, which made the stay extra relaxing. One of the highlights was the perks that come with being an in-house guest—there are quite a number of privileges that make the stay feel more worthwhile and enjoyable.
The hotel itself has a beautiful, serene atmosphere, perfect for a quiet getaway while still being in the city.
If there’s one downside, it would be the location in terms of convenience to public transport. Although it’s mentioned to be near train stations, the walk to the nearest ones is actually a bit further than expected, especially if you’re carrying luggage or travelling in the heat.
Also, for older guests, it may be a good idea to request a room closer to the main lobby, as the property is quite large and distances within the hotel can be a bit of a walk.
Overall, still a lovely stay and would recommend for those who value space, comfort, and a more tranquil environment.

We booked a villa, and the room was clean with all the necessary facilities. The 'Carrot Butler' (their service staff) would notify us in advance to fill the tub, which was a thoughtful touch. The butler for building #9 provided detailed and attentive service. The hotel has a garden-style design and is conveniently located right next to the East Gate of Slender West Lake, making it easy to get around.

I stayed at ANSHE Hotel in Suzhou for two nights in early April 2026 and left as a very happy camper. The hotel is well-designed and clearly well-run. The hardware and heartware are equally impressive: the staff are warm, hospitable, and quick to resolve any issues, while the in-room technology is modern, intuitive, and easy to operate. The room layout and amenities made it effortless to rest and recharge after a full day of exploring the city.
The location is another big plus — just steps from a metro station and an easy walk to the charming Pingjiang Road. This hotel truly ticks all the boxes for design, comfort, convenience, and thoughtful service. Highly recommended.

Location: Unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown. The surrounding commercial area is very developed, and transportation is super convenient. The subway is just two steps away, and it's easy to get a taxi right to the building entrance! Getting anywhere is a breeze.
Service: Very good. Whatever we needed was delivered very quickly, and communication via WeChat was smooth with prompt replies!
Facilities: Pretty good. The room is very spacious with two large beds. However, the soundproofing isn't great, and the bathroom design is a bit inconvenient. Taller people will find the shower cramped. Also, there was a noticeable odor from the toilet.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we were welcomed, to Emily, the young lady with glasses at the front desk, everyone was incredibly warm and friendly, smiling throughout. They arranged a wonderful room for us. We stayed for two days, and the housekeeping aunties were also very nice, promptly fulfilling all our requests for extra pillows and toiletries. The breakfast on the 56th floor was quiet with great views, but the food didn't stay warm very well – for instance, the fried eggs were in a container with water. The breakfast on the first floor was crowded and noisy, and popular dishes would often be replaced by something else after just one round. We really loved a kind of scallion sesame pancake and asked if it was for sale. A beautiful lady, who I'm not sure was the restaurant manager, directly packed several for me to take away, which I really appreciated. This truly felt like service with a personal touch. I'll definitely come back again if I have the chance!

Our whole family loved staying at Andu Hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful; seeing we had seniors with us, they proactively arranged a quiet room on a lower floor. The room itself was spacious with great natural light, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which made for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options and lighter flavors. The hotel's location is super convenient for dining and shopping. They offer free laundry and drying, a gym, and parking, making it very family-friendly. All the staff were polite and gentle, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout our stay. It's much more practical than many 'influencer' hotels – I genuinely recommend it! 😊

The hotel service was excellent and I was very satisfied. The room design was beautiful and I loved it; it was great for photos. The hygiene was good, and the facilities were decent. It's not far from the attractions, and it's convenient to get around by taxi or bike. They also offer electric scooters for rent, which is a big plus. Highly recommend!
The room has a separate wet and dry area, it's clean, and the new hotel environment is quite good. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, are very enthusiastic, quick to solve problems, and helped with our luggage. We'll definitely choose this hotel when we come to Nanjing again. We wished we could have stayed longer!

LLvdongzidieSallyduanThis hotel is nestled in a historic neighborhood with a wonderful ambiance. It's super convenient for visiting the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Suzhou Museum, and the metro isn't far either. Staying here feels like discovering a hidden gem of a guesthouse tucked away in an alley, offering an immersive experience of Suzhou's elegant charm – something you just don't get from a chain hotel.
They offer complimentary welcome fruits, and the room facilities are excellent. From the window, you can see the canal and boats passing by. Strolling through Suzhou's old town and then coming back to this waterside retreat is truly delightful. 🥰

JJiayongThe B&B has a nice courtyard and good service. However, no matter how good the view is, the main purpose is to sleep, and the room had a piercing high-frequency electrical noise that kept me up all night. The owner reportedly sleeps on the second floor himself, so why haven't they fixed this hardware issue? Also, the so-called private courtyard pool is just a small puddle in their guesthouse, not a private pool for your room. I'm truly baffled by this misleading claim. I heard the owner is even a chairman of an association; if a chairman is like this, what about the other member establishments? The chairman said if you mention his name, the restaurants on the street would give you some 'snacks' – but these so-called snacks are just a small flatbread that all restaurants serve, whether you mention his name or not. The restaurant where I mentioned his name even overcharged me by dozens of yuan on the bill. In short, if you're just going for a photoshoot, it might be okay, but if you're truly looking for a relaxing vacation stay, I'd recommend sticking to professional hotels.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near Exit B20 of Sanyang Plaza on Metro Line 1, offering direct access to Wuxi Station. The room, advertised as a mountain view, was more of a city view, as there wasn't really any mountain visible. The soundproofing was incredibly poor; the guests next door were chattering loudly past 11 PM, making it impossible to sleep. I had to knock on the wall to get some quiet. The service, however, was excellent! Especially the housekeeping staff who proactively left extra bottles of water every day, which was a very nice touch. The breakfast was good, and the soup dumplings were delicious.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
GGuest UserParent-child travel, mainly in hotels, housekeeper Xiaoyu contacted and communicated in advance, followed up the service, the service was in place, there were small gifts for check-in, and toys were given before leaving. The upgraded lake view room was very comfortable, but the double bed was a bit small, and it was a bit crowded to sleep with the child. The hotel had an event on May 1st, and missed the event on the 1st. The housekeeper can remind parents with children of such activities. Parent-child travel in a resort hotel is nothing more than being tired of going out to play, and wanting to complete all activities in the hotel~ The little train is too old and the children don’t get dizzy. The Hanfu experience seems to be all women’s clothing, there is nothing suitable for children, and there is no reservation for use. The shuttle bus service to the ancient town was not used. I stayed for 2 nights and drove to Wu Yue Rong Ji on the second night. There were many people. I lined up online in advance. It was my turn before I waited for a while. I ate too much at the hotel buffet at noon and couldn’t eat at night. I didn’t order any dishes to feel the atmosphere. I walked around for a while, and the ice jelly bought by the hotel was delicious.
ZZhainv2013Our stay at InterContinental Nanjing was fantastic. On the day of check-in, Luanne added me on WeChat and enthusiastically asked about our needs. Everything was perfectly arranged, and she checked in with us daily to ensure our experience was good. It was truly touching! Thumbs up! 👍 The room faced Xuanwu Lake, offering a wide, beautiful night view. We also went up to the 45th floor for some outdoor photos. All in all, InterContinental Nanjing is definitely worth revisiting! The hotel staff are highly professional and provide excellent service, and the housekeeping aunties are also very thoughtful, keeping the room clean and bright! Subway Lines 1 and 4 are just over a hundred meters away, and there are plenty of great food options nearby!

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝
MMoAlantehOur stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere.
The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime.
Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor.
The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish.
Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

HHsdonggeThe hotel is spacious and very clean. It's conveniently located next to Vientiane City, making dining and shopping easy. The subway station is also right nearby, which is great for getting around. It's really suitable for both business trips and tourism. The service was excellent too; since we were a family of three, the hotel proactively offered an extra breakfast, which was a very thoughtful touch!
