The hotel's environment, cleanliness, and service were all excellent! I had scheduled a shuttle to the high-speed rail station for 1:30 PM the next day, but due to a slight delay returning from Tianmen Mountain, I informed the staff that I would need to leave at 1:50 PM. They were all very accommodating and helpful. The suite was spacious and had a great view. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Zhangjiajie!

This has to be the worst Sheraton by Marriott. The facilities are old and outdated. They started clearing dishes for breakfast before I even finished eating, which points to a management issue. There were foot massage ads prominently displayed, and the elevators are shared with other businesses, making it feel more like a small guesthouse. I could understand this if it were a different brand, but for a Marriott Sheraton, it really changes my perception of Marriott. Perhaps this is just what Marriott has become in its old age.

Hotel near Hunan Museum/Beichen Delta,Changsha

An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

This hotel offers exceptional service. Our butler called a day in advance to confirm our itinerary and arranged for a hotel car to pick us up from the station, immediately making our visit to this tourist city feel warmer. The room was comfortable and clean, with a direct view of Tianmen Mountain from the window. The hotel is right next to the airport runway, and the butler kindly advised us to close the windows before sleeping – we didn't hear any noise at night. Zhangjiajie city center isn't large, so taking a taxi for meals wasn't far. The next day, we tried lunch at the hotel restaurant, and the service was equally excellent. They thoughtfully recommended seasonal wild vegetables and specialty dishes. The young man who drove us to the station was also very polite, professional, and chatty. I look forward to returning to Zhangjiajie for a more in-depth visit next time.

Five-star praise! This time I stayed at Wyndham, I was completely conquered by Alan's professionalism and enthusiasm! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, they patiently guided me through the check-in procedures and answered my questions with a smile throughout the entire process. They were so detailed that they even included a map with recommendations for nearby food. This thoughtfulness was really touching. They always pay attention to needs and respond very quickly. Whether it is borrowing small items or itinerary consultation, they handle it efficiently and thoughtfully. From service details to professional attitude, Alan perfectly interprets the quality of a five-star hotel! But maybe it’s because it’s been open for too short a time. There’s no laundry room and no screens on the windows, so it’s hard for people to really believe that this is a five-star hotel.

Came to Hengyang to watch a concert, and chose a hotel with a good reputation. As expected, I was not disappointed. The hotel provides four meals a day, which is very convenient. Miss Ouyang at the front desk has a good service attitude and is willing to help guests. The guest room is also very comfortable, clean and tidy. Overall, I am satisfied and give it a five-star rating!

Hotel near Wanjiali/Yangfan Night Market,Changsha
GGuest User 2026.04.06
The hotel is really cool, and the elevator's decor is quite artistic. My only minor complaint is the unique smell on the first floor, which I wasn't too fond of. The ground floor isn't the lobby; you need to go to the 6th floor to check in. There's a nice terrace garden up on the 6th floor. The hotel staff are very friendly and always help with the elevator, and the cleaning staff always greet you warmly. The day before check-in, they even called to ask if we had any special requests. The drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary on the first day, but we didn't end up drinking much of them. Our room had a large sofa, big enough for an adult to sleep on comfortably, which was perfect for our family of three. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The hotel is located right above a shopping mall with plenty of food options. We tried some rice noodles and wontons, both of which were delicious. It's also convenient for grabbing a late-night snack. Nearby, there's Qu Ji and Ben Luobo, and a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right downstairs where there's usually no queue – we tried them all. In the evening, there's also a night market food street next door with what looked like a lot of tasty options.

This hotel is conveniently located just 3 kilometers from Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan National Forest Park, right next to Xibu Food Street. The surroundings are beautiful, and dining options are plentiful. The room itself was very large and spacious, and the bedding was super comfortable for a good night's sleep.

This is a listed five-star hotel. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel its high-end and grandeur. In terms of service, it is completely five-star standard. The staff are warm and considerate. Whether it is the front desk reception or room service, they can respond to my requests, which makes me feel very considerate. The room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is soft and clean, and all supporting facilities are available, making it very convenient to use. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. The most important thing is that considering the high-quality services and complete facilities it provides, the price is very reasonable and the price-performance ratio is very high!

Good hotel near South railway station. Nice rooms. Three elevators is not much for 30 floor building, but luckily the hotel wasn't nearly () fully occupied. Breakfast options a bit limited for a hotel like this. Chinese breakfast: few vegatable options. Western breakfast: good European style bread but nothing to put on it except jam.

Very big hotel with lots of amenities including a well equipped gym, laundry room, billiards, etc. While the room was quite clean, the hotel itself is quite old. I didn’t like the layout of the bathroom but the room was quite big. Staff was respectful. There is also a restaurant in the lobby for both breakfast and lunch. The location is very convenient since it’s right at the entrance (~6min walk from fenghuang ancient town) and right in front of the bus station where they drop you off from the high speed train and where you will take the bus to the station.

We primarily want to express our gratitude to the administrator Cherry, who did everything necessary to make our stay at the hotel comfortable, and her efforts deserve the highest praise! She was in contact with us every day via WeChat and in person, and helped resolve various minor problems that arose. Cherry is the only person at the hotel who speaks English. The hotel staff does not speak English, but communication is possible through a translator. Regarding the hotel, it's quite old, although everything looks very nice in the photos. In reality, the buildings are very old and worn down. Some of the equipment is outdated. The hotel grounds are kept clean, the cottages are surrounded by a beautiful park and forest, with clean air and birdsong. However, the hotel does not meet the level that is advertised. The hotel was advertised as having five restaurants, but in reality only one, serving Chinese cuisine, was open; everything else was closed, possibly due to the low season. However, this was not mentioned on Trip.com. The breakfast selection was very varied, but the food wasn't very tasty. We had a hard time choosing what to eat for breakfast. This hotel is suitable for people who are looking for peace and quiet. It's located a bit outside the city, about 10 km away, and you'll need to take a taxi every time you want to get to the city. But if you want tranquility, this is the place for you.

Stayed 2 nights at Ruke Zhangjiajie. It is a very beautiful boutique hotel located just 13 mins walk from the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car Station. The hotel provided one way complimentary pick up service from the Airport or Train Station depending on the package you booked, which was an excellent addition to what they have to offer. The room is immaculately decorated, spacious and unpretentious. It is tastefully furnished. We booked the entry level Room which was very good in my opinion but we peeped into the higher category, it was magnificent. If you can splurge a bit, go for the higher room category. You will not regret it. All the hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful, in fact all they have provided to us an impeccable service during our stay. The breakfast was tasty and they have 3 different selections of ”Set Menu”. Hearty and delicious. My only concern was that you can only select either ”Coffee/Tea” or ”Fruit Juice” or ”Yogurt”. In my opinion, these 3 items served different purposes and should not be an option but to provide all who need it. Nonetheless, we still strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants something different and unique, and has the accessibility to Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain and the City Centre.

Nice clean, modern hotel in a good location for Tianmen. Free transfer from the train station and communication via WeChat was very helpful. Large room, although beds seem to be large single beds rather than double beds as per listing. This was still fine for our family of 3, we just pushed the beds together. Good breakfast, worth adding for the days we were up early for Tianmen and Zhangjiajie Forest Park. It ends at 9am though so we didn’t manage to go on the other 2 days when we were tired. The room was spotless and housekeeping came daily. There was a smell of smoke in the corridor (seems like smoking is allowed as there was also an ashtray in our room), thankfully no smell in our room. The spa was… interesting. Open 24 hours and with no spa menu, just phone translator used to tell us the price. My husband went for full body massage and got taken to a replica of our hotel room and massaged on the bed (no massage table) by a woman in a costume. He said it was good though and she didn’t offer any other services!

The hotel is close to the east gate of Wulingyuan and historic interest area. It’s very convenient to start your trip from here. It’s a 10min walk from the bus station that takes you to the Grand Canyon and zhangjiajie. The streets with the shops are 1-2km walking. They have many choices for breakfast. Different vegetables, noodles, bread, eggs, fruit etc. Even cornflakes and toast if you only like western food. They change it a bit everyday which is nice. The room was good and they cleaned it every day. Only underneath the bed it was dusty. The room had automatically opening curtains and airco. I would recommend this hotel. The staff does not speak English so if you don’t speak a little Chinese it might be a little inconvenient.

As a professional who has experienced many high-end hotels for work, I stayed with a critical eye and was deeply impressed. The value of its geographical location, the ”arrival” and ”vacation” feeling created by the large courtyard, surpasses the lobby bar of most luxury hotels in the city. The professionalism, foresight, and sense of boundaries of the 24-hour butler service are comparable to the golden key service of top hotels, and are more humanistic. Free pick-up and drop-off is an important part of enhancing the overall experience. The richness of breakfast and the quality of products can be considered luxurious in the context of homestays. The rooms combine space utilization, comfort, and aesthetics under limited conditions. What surprised me the most and gave me a very high evaluation was the customized washing and grooming products, which are not inferior to the luxurious brands of five-star hotels. Their complete brand thinking, unique fragrance memory points, and excellent user experience reflect the manager's profound understanding of the core elements of ”high-end experience”. Miao costume travel photography is a special value-added service that adds to the charm. This hotel blurs the boundaries between boutique inns and luxury hotels, and even surpasses certain experiences, making it a rare benchmark in the industry.

Brand new hotel. Exceptional service, delicious breakfast buffet with many choices and clean quiet rooms. Staff very helpful providing maps, they were also responsive to inquiries ahead of time. High end lighting-night lights very useful if using toilets at night!Tons of amenities, slippers, robes toothbrush etc. Reserved foot massages in the hotel spa, but prices were higher compared to establishment in Wulingyuan (understandably given convenience) and there was some upselling of the spa service upgrades. Overall getting foot massages in rooms was nice and relaxing if you don’t want to go out, but keep in mind the additional cost to getting in the town. Things to note-the hotel allows smoking in the rooms and we were upset to find our neighbor smoked. They lent us an extra quiet air purifier to help with it once we told them. Air conditioning in our room was not functioning so rooms got somewhat hot, we had to open door and windows to let mountain air cool. At night preferred to keep window closed because of some road noises so it could get very warm in night.
