The room was excellent, and the environment was fantastic. A special thank you to the staff for their service. There were staff members who spoke Chinese, which made communication seamless. When I checked out, I forgot my phone at the hotel. The staff called the hotel I was going to beforehand, and then in the evening, they even delivered my phone to my hotel in Sapporo, waiting until I received it. The service was absolutely incredible, and I'm very grateful. It's a place definitely worth visiting.

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Portom International Hokkaido and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The hotel feels very new and modern, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The onsen was one of our favourite parts of the stay. It was beautifully designed, peaceful, and a great way to relax after a long day. We also appreciated having access to a well-equipped gym, which was spotless and had everything needed for a good workout. The room amenities were surprisingly comprehensive. It wasn’t just the usual toiletries—they even provided thoughtful extras like air freshener, onsen pj, actual pj, bedroom slippers which made the stay feel extra comfortable and convenient. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and quality of the facilities really stood out. Portom International Hokkaido made our trip even more enjoyable, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and premium stay near the airport.

Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

The location is fantastic! You can access Tanukikoji shopping street directly from the back door, and it's a short walk to places like the prefectural office. The room was spacious, and the breakfast curry rice was delicious, especially with an onsen egg (mostly because Hokkaido rice is so good!). Coming back after a day out and having a soak in the large public bath on the top floor was incredibly relaxing.

The hotel lobby features many unique wood carvings, which is quite special. The staff are warm and welcoming. The room size is just right, and the bedding is comfortable. There are three hot springs, all of which are excellent and very relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style with a rich and varied selection. Highly recommended.

We’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Which was a bit longer stay for Sapporo. However as the weather was so bad with heavy snow, so we did enjoy our stays in hotel during the snowy weather. The breakfast is so great and we expect it every morning, as it includes a variety of foods so you always can find something to enjoy. All staffs are very friendly and welcoming, especially two male & senior chefs at ramen and omelette. We also bought spa in our room rate, so every night we did enjoy a pleasant spa( though it’s not hot spring). In front of hotel, there is a small mall - BIVI , which with some good restaurants ,nice cafe (Gentle Bagel) and coop. Even at the heavy snowing days, you have no worries to spend time in. B1 with very practical laundry service , costs are fairly . If you have budget, you can choose only room (without breakfast and spa) plans, which is with very CP, strongly recommended.

The room view is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful lake view! I could watch the sunrise from bed and the sunset from the balcony. It was clean and hygienic, and the service was so good I almost felt embarrassed. The bakery downstairs has amazing bread. They also offer shuttle service up and down the mountain, but make sure to book it a day in advance!

Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need. There's space under the bed for luggage, so even the most basic room, despite being small, doesn't feel cramped. There's a decently long and wide desk for putting things on, and the windowsill is also quite wide, so you can draw the curtains and use it to display your souvenirs for photos. The wardrobe area for hanging clothes is also very spacious and deep! Even though the room isn't big, the bathroom is still plenty spacious and doesn't feel tight. We went to the hot springs an hour before closing, but it was still incredibly clean and tidy. Even if the parking spots in front of the hotel are full, there are other parking options available for guests.

This onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.
