Cosmos Hotel Taipei

It's wonderful and close to all transportation options. The staff are hospitable and polite. I recommend it to everyone.

The room was not as clean as I expected. The electric kettle was particularly dirty, so I called the front desk and requested a replacement. The bathtub in the bathroom was also not very clean, especially the glass panels next to it. I had to clean the entire bathroom myself before I felt comfortable using it. The metal cover above the toilet paper holder was also covered with water stains and was only wiped once on the third day of our stay. The breakfast was alright, but the location of the hotel is really excellent. It is very convenient to get to different places, and it is especially convenient on rainy days because we hardly need to worry about getting wet. However, I was quite disappointed with the overall cleanliness and housekeeping. After spending a whole day outside, we were already very tired and did not have the energy to keep calling the hotel to complain or request a room change. I eventually cleaned the entire bathroom myself so that I could feel comfortable staying in the room. I did not request a room change because changing rooms would have meant packing and unpacking everything again, which was the last thing we wanted to do after a tiring day.

Great location very near Taipei Main Station. Size of regular room is just right for 2 guests. Overall this hotel is recommendable.

Fifth time staying this hotel, this time they provide free daily afternoon tea and 2 free coffee at Cafe 17. The cleaner at 10th floor super good, definitely come back again next year.

Next to Taipei main station Exit M3 , buffet breakfast with lots of choices
