Hotel ICON

This was my second time staying at Hotel Icon, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. The view from the room is amazing, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. A special thank you to Miss. Ruby Tse at the front desk. When I accidentally left my phone at the counter during check-in, she was so patient and quickly helped me find it. I also asked for a high floor, and she kindly arranged one for me – the view was perfect. Later, I got caught in the rain and was completely wet; Ruby noticed and handed me tissues right away. Such thoughtful and efficient service! Highly recommend this hotel, and hope to see Ruby again on my next visit hahaha.

Really enjoyed our stay. Stand out was the concierge who was very helpful in recommending places to eat. Forgot his name, but he is the senior fellow and was always at the front. For a student run operations, it performed better than some professionally operated hotels. And the decor is nice, even since 2008 it is still nice.

I am staying in room 2211. I like this room very much. If I have a chance to come back to stay here again, I like the interior, but I would like to recommend that the room has a dust filter. It will help make the oxygen in the room better. Thank you.

The view is decent, offering a partial glimpse of the sea. The location is a bit of a walk from Tsim Sha Sui MTR station, about 15 minutes on foot. However, there are plenty of local food stalls nearby, and it’s situated on the quieter side of TST. The staff are friendly and courteous.

My stay at Hotel ICON in Tsim Sha Tsui was overall a really pleasant experience. The reception staff were attentive and always ready to help, which made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. I also appreciated how accommodating they were with my requests — it definitely added a personalised touch to the stay. The room itself was impressively spacious and very comfortable. It’s not often you get such a generous amount of space in Hong Kong, so that was a huge plus. The bathroom was equally large, which made everything feel even more luxurious. I especially loved the adjustable lighting in the room — being able to customise the brightness to suit your mood was a nice, thoughtful feature. A standout perk was the complimentary minibar. That was such a pleasant surprise and honestly felt like a little bonus treat. The only downside for me was the curtain design. It doesn’t fully close, and unfortunately the gap lets sunlight shine directly onto the bed in the morning. It can be a bit irritating, especially if you’re hoping for a proper lie-in. If the curtain were designed to close in the opposite direction, it would have made a big difference. Overall, a fantastic stay with just a small room for improvement — I’d still happily return.

The hotel's facilities, including the fitness centre and dining options, exceeded my expectations and added tremendous value to my experience. I was especially impressed by their attention to detail and the genuine care shown by the team. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel ICON to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay. I look forward to returning in the future.
