Lancaster Legacy Hotel & Apartments

The hotel facilities are quite good, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is abundant. The location is also quiet. However, the hotel has a strict policy against eating any strong-smelling food, with fines for violations. While this might be common knowledge in Vietnam, it would be helpful if foreign guests were at least informed about these prohibited activities.

The service at this hotel was terrible. They refused to modify my reservation. I had booked from August 23rd to August 28th, but since there were no direct flights back home on the 28th, I had to change my departure to the 27th. However, the hotel rejected my request, which resulted in me losing a day's worth of accommodation fees. It's really disheartening.

My overall experience during this stay was great. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night's rest. The hotel environment was quiet, and the common areas were well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, making both check-in and check-out smooth. The hotel's location was also quite convenient, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to grab a bite or do some shopping. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and the price and quality of accommodation met my expectations. If I'm in this area again, I would consider staying here once more.

The front desk staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The security guards at the entrance would proactively open and close the doors for us. The hotel's location is excellent, with a 7-Eleven right across the street and many local eateries nearby. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Ben Thanh Market, and you can take your time browsing along the way. The hotel facilities are all very new and clean. The restaurant staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the environment was very clean. I was initially worried about construction noise based on some reviews, but it didn't affect my stay this time. I would choose this hotel again next time I visit Ho Chi Minh City.

I have to give this hotel a bad review. Construction started before 7 AM, with constant hammering on walls and floors, and never-ending drilling sounds, making it impossible to get any rest. The hotel's public facilities are actually decent (gym, sauna), but the room itself was very disappointing. It was large but empty, with an awkward layout, and the overall grey and white color scheme felt quite depressing. The front desk service was also poor; after checking out, they made me wait a long time for them to check the room, treating guests like thieves. Another thing is that the rooms only have keypad locks, and the password is just the room number…
