Mandarin Oriental Pudong Shanghai

The hotel's ambiance is fantastic. I've stayed in many five-star hotels, even some similarly priced ones, but the Mandarin Oriental's attention to detail is truly exceptional. The swimming pool water is incredibly clear, and they have a steam room in the shower area, plus a warm pool for kids, which is really comfortable and thoughtful. The hotel's breakfast is also superb, with a great mix of Chinese and Western options. The location is excellent too; if you're driving, there's no traffic and the roads are wide. Downstairs, there's a ferry terminal, so you can enjoy a ferry ride in the evening and take in the beautiful night views of the Huangpu River.

The room was spotless. We even got a free upgrade when we checked in! The staff were all super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

The room I was assigned had a pretty good view. However, when I arrived at 5 PM, the room wasn't ready yet. Later that evening, I found out some of my luggage was still in the lobby and hadn't been delivered to the room. Breakfast also involved a very long wait in line before being seated. And surprisingly, there was a smell of smoke in the hallway leading to the room.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. It's beautifully situated along the Huangpu River, right next to the Pujiang walkway, offering a lovely and comfortable environment that's surprisingly peaceful. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, and very comfortable, and the service is excellent! 👍👍👍

The hotel's location is excellent, very quiet, and close to the Oriental Pearl Tower. The facilities are well-maintained, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. The service is attentive to detail, and the breakfast is also great. Overall, I'm very satisfied!
