Wuzhizhou Island Resort

We had a very satisfying stay at the Wuzhizhou Island Coral Hotel. The island scenery is absolutely stunning, the facilities are complete, and the breakfast is plentiful. Special commendation goes to Mr. Luo Changyong, whose service was warm and attentive. His vehicle was spotless, driving was smooth and safe, and he proactively helped with luggage and patiently explained travel arrangements, making the entire trip exceptionally worry-free and enjoyable. Staying at the Coral Hotel, the only one on the island, was a fantastic experience! With the wristband, you get express access to all the activities, which made everything so much more enjoyable. A big shout-out to our driver, Wang Deye, for his thoughtful service and for helping us with our luggage. Highly recommended!

This was my first stay in the Coral Hotel's cabins, and it included ferry tickets and breakfast at a great price. We also got to skip the lines and had electric cart transfers. After the crowds left in the evening, we enjoyed a quiet night. The bus took us down to the hotel in Haitang Bay, and there were staff helping with luggage both getting on and off. A big thanks to the guy who helped with our bags! Driver Li Zhenzhong had a great attitude and proactively helped with luggage. I'll definitely choose Coral again next time I visit Wuzhizhou Island.

I highly recommend staying a night on Wuzhizhou Island. The ocean water is beautiful, and the fast pass is very convenient. There are fewer people in the evenings and mornings, and activities are discounted, which makes it quite worthwhile. We switched to a family room in the main building, which was more convenient for our stay.

This is a beachfront, detached wooden cabin, just a few minutes' walk from the boardwalk and the beach. In the early mornings and evenings, after the day-trippers have left, only hotel guests remain on the island. Sitting in the gazebo on the boardwalk or strolling along the beach, enjoying the sea breeze, feels wonderful. Unfortunately, the downside of the wooden cabin is that the bathroom facilities are old and the cleanliness isn't great. Being a wooden cabin, you also see a lot of geckos. However, my daughter really enjoyed the cabin experience. For getting around, you can call the hotel buggy or walk. It doesn't feel as convenient as staying near the Coral Hotel, but it offers a lot more privacy.

The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the island scenery is beautiful. Driver Gong Kai, who provided the airport drop-off service, was excellent. He drove smoothly and steadily, and was patient and attentive throughout the journey. He proactively helped with luggage and planned the route efficiently. His communication was gentle and polite, and his service was incredibly thoughtful. It made for a very comfortable travel experience, highly recommended!

The service was quite good, and the environment was decent. The pool was a definite highlight. My only complaint is that the prices were too high.

We chose a cabin, which was in pristine condition. We did spot a small gecko, but overall, the room was very clean and offered a beautiful view. Although it was a bit far from the lobby and the pier, we could call an electric cart anytime. At night, we could hear the sound of the waves and see the stars. On the first night, there was a power outage for about ten to twenty minutes due to a tripped circuit breaker. It was completely silent and dark, with only the sound of the waves accompanying us, which felt wonderful. The room came with a complimentary mini-bar for the first round, but unfortunately, the fridge wasn't cooling again, so we ended up with warm drinks. The hotel breakfast was decent, and the swimming pool was large and open late. =========== Next, about Wuzhizhou Island: Wuzhizhou Island is a pure amusement island, offering various activities and photo ops. The prices are high, but everything is clearly marked, so you pay if you're willing. Perhaps because of the high prices, the entire island is well-maintained, though you still occasionally see construction sites – it feels like endless development. There are always people cleaning the island, and plenty of trash cans, yet you still frequently see tourists littering. I originally planned to stay on the island for two nights to enjoy its tranquility, take walks, and swim, with no interest in taking photos. However, many areas on the island are only accessible by electric cart and not open to pedestrians. Although the island isn't huge, there were many places I couldn't reach. Furthermore, even though it's already summer and the pier has moved to the summer location, the beach area still faces rough waves and frequently displays red flags, making it impossible to swim. Meanwhile, the summer pier side has many calm stretches of water that aren't open to tourists. The only other opportunity to get into the sea is by participating in water sports, which cost 200-300 yuan per session. I don't object to making money, but everything here seems geared towards profit. For someone who just wants to quietly enjoy the blue skies, green trees, and the sea, the experience is really quite mediocre.

The front desk staff's service attitude was really disappointing – they seemed completely uninterested. Check-in on Saturday was a nightmare because it was so busy. There were a lot of stairs and no one offered to help with my large suitcase. The only bright spot was the very enthusiastic cleaning lady. The hotel's environment is indeed amazing, though the layout felt like a maze. Having the entire island to ourselves was fantastic, and the rooms are huge. Sitting on the balcony, watching the sea and listening to the waves was lovely. The hotel breakfast was good, and they even had fresh squeezed juice. The only downside was a centipede in the cabin bathroom, but otherwise, everything was great. It would be fantastic if the pool in the cabin area reopened; otherwise, it's a hassle to call a car just to get to the main lobby's pool.
