Atour Hotel Nanjing East Road, Shanghai on the Bund

Hygiene: The hotel was incredibly clean. Staff were prompt in clearing room trash and restocking amenities. Service: The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, even during the peak summer season. The self-service laundry room was a huge plus! After sweating through clothes all day in the summer, having 24-hour free laundry and drying services available was fantastic 👍 Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped with facilities like a gym, breakfast service, and the laundry room, meeting all my travel needs. Minibar: The Buddha's hand and Solomon's seal tea, along with Atour's exclusive black and green teas, were excellent and replenished daily. Location: The location is superb. The Bund is right outside the hotel, and it's very close to popular dining spots like Shanghai Gong Guan and Shanghai Jia Yan. Yu Garden commercial city is about a 15-minute walk away, and taxis are easily accessible. While the hotel price might be a bit on the higher side, the service is absolutely fantastic. I would definitely book again. The family room perfectly accommodated our family of four. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety, was replenished promptly, and tasted great.

The hotel's location is a major plus; it's super convenient to get to the Bund, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The downside is that the rooms are very small. Even in an executive family room, there was no proper table or counter to put things on, just a tiny round side table that couldn't hold much. We practically had to put everything on the floor, which was not a great experience. Breakfast was mediocre with limited variety. Honestly, for over 1500, you're mostly paying for the location.

The room's location is excellent, and the service meets Atour's high standards. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
