The hotel is a bit far from the Taipei station. The hygiene is not that good and complimentary water bottles only provide on the first day.

Location wise is good, near to Taipei main station and Ningxia night market. The only thing to complain is their shower head is not strong enough and their water dispenser always run out of water and asked to go down to the lobby to get drinking water.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. The main positive is the location - very convenient and easy to get around Taipei, with plenty of coffee shops, convenience stores, and amenities nearby. The lobby is also spacious and welcoming, although a bit dated. However, cleanliness and overall upkeep were way below expectations. The hallway leading to the room was dark and poorly maintained, with loose ceiling vents and visible wear throughout. The general condition already raised concerns before even entering the room! Inside the room, it was clear the property is old and not well maintained at all. The carpet was worn, the curtains were mismatched and not functioning smoothly, and there were visible signs of damp and mould on the walls of the bedroom. All walls that is. Wallpaper was peeling in multiple areas, and some furniture, including the chair and telephone, did not feel clean. Light switches and surfaces also needed proper cleaning. I opted to put the towel over my chair as i dare not sit on it - it was stained.. The bathroom was usable, with good water pressure and hot water, but again showed signs of age and lack of deep cleaning. Towels were basic, which is acceptable for the price point. One major downside for business travellers is the INTERNET - it was extremely slow and unreliable, making it difficult to work. Maybe browsing a few simple web pages but waiting, however if you're using a CRM or video content browsing, forget it. I ended up using my own hotspot most of the time. To be fair, this is a budget option, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. That said, at a similar price point, I have stayed in much better-maintained properties elsewhere in Taipei. Overall, good for location and kind of ok for price, but cleanliness and maintenance need significant improvement. Probably more suitable for short stays where budget is the main priority. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

The light was broken which cannot sustain for a long time. The room is moldy.
