MIMARU Osaka Shinsaibashi East

Everything was great, except for the slightly complex nightlife in the surrounding area (but there's a police station right outside the hotel, so that's a plus!). The hotel itself is quite new, and there's a supermarket right by the entrance. The front desk staff were super friendly. I'd say it's comfortable for four people, making it perfect for a family of four. While it says it can sleep five, five adults would definitely be a tight squeeze. There's only one sink in the bathroom. Within a minute's walk, there's an amazing Wagyu steak set restaurant – truly delicious (I only found out it uses rice from Fukushima after I'd already eaten, if that's a concern for you). Also, Shichihou Malatang is near Takashimaya, about a 16-minute walk, and you'll pass through some of Osaka's busiest pedestrian streets, which are really lively. Over 80% of the people on the streets seemed to be foreigners.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I'm giving full marks for cleanliness, service, and facilities! 💯

The rooms are larger than typical hotel rooms, and it's super close to Shinsaibashi, so you can shop 'til you drop! There's also a subway station nearby, and the staff are incredibly friendly, speak great English, and are easy to communicate with.

Clean, perfect for families as everyone gets their own bed. The kitchenette is super convenient because you don't want to eat out for every meal. You can grab some Wagyu from the supermarket and cook it yourself, or just heat up some milk in the morning.
