Wanchai 88 Hotel

The hotel was just okay, and while the location was decent, the service from the lady at the front desk was terrible. She got impatient and started shouting just because I didn't catch something she said. It felt like I was paying to stay there but owed her money. She's just an employee, what's with the attitude? What kind of staff does the owner hire?! Bad! Trash! If you're so high and mighty, don't work in customer service. People don't owe you anything!!

The location is quite convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. However, it can be a bit tricky to find as you need to head down an alley. I was also quite satisfied with the safety. The surrounding environment isn't chaotic, and the deadbolt on the door felt secure. There were no unsolicited flyers slipped under the door. The cleanliness was good, though the lighting at night wasn't great and there were no blackout curtains. The room had no strange smells, and there was no dust on the tables. Hot water was quick, and the water pressure was stable. The facilities were also well-maintained. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The service attitude was excellent and professional, from the front desk staff to the cleaning ladies and maintenance personnel.

Right downstairs, you have the 'ding ding' trams. There are lots of 'cha chaan tengs' (Hong Kong-style cafes) nearby, many old shops, and plenty of delicious eateries. Plus, there are numerous supermarkets and convenience stores. The bed was spacious and comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the soundproofing was excellent. High value for money! Highly recommended! 👍🏻

The hotel is located in the Wan Chai district, about a five to seven-minute walk from the MTR station. You can see the hotel's '88' sign from the street. The room's AC temperature cannot be adjusted, and the only facilities are the rooms themselves; there's no restaurant or gym.

The hotel is less than 200 meters' walk from the Wan Chai MTR station, which was the main reason I chose it for its convenient location. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and other commercial establishments nearby. The lobby is on the 3rd floor. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM the next morning. The room provided a universal plug adapter. While the decor felt a bit dated, the room was clean and tidy, and the space was well utilized.

The hotel room was good, spacious, and the staff were very helpful. It's also close to the MTR station.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to Wan Chai MTR station, just a 5-minute walk. The lobby on the third floor offers complimentary coffee, tea bags, and hot water. The 23-square-meter room is quite spacious, and at around 400 RMB on weekdays, it offers great value for money.

It's very spacious and close to the subway. There was some dust in certain corners, but overall, it was really, really good.

Overall, it was great. The hotel is very close to Wanchai MTR station; you just walk to the end of the street and there's an exit. There are plenty of food options nearby. The only minor drawback is that the hotel lobby's color scheme is a bit dark.
