"As a solo traveler on my first trip to Tasmania, I stayed two nights at this historic century-old hotel and was very satisfied overall! Explorers returning from Antarctic expeditions even stayed here back in the day! Facilities: It's an old building with a lot of history, but the interior facilities are very standard and comfortable for a good rest. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the mini-bar had complimentary tea bags and biscuits, as well as alcoholic beverages and snacks for purchase. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. The bathroom provided bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths, along with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming. When checking out, they asked about my stay and chatted about where I was heading next. The service staff all seemed quite easygoing. The only thing to note is that the power outlets in the room are all near the carpet, with no outlets by the table. So, when charging my phone, I had to place it on the carpet. The outlets are the same as in China, so no adapter is needed. Hobart is also a small city, and it's not far from the hotel to the Hobart Transit Centre or the Skybus station for the airport shuttle."

"This hostel was pretty clean, which I appreciated. They even let me check in early around 10 AM, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The only major downside, and it's a big one, is how tiny the kitchen is. When everyone's trying to cook, it gets incredibly crowded. There's also no TV room, so you're stuck socializing in your own room or in that cramped kitchen."

"Stayed at the RACV Hotel Hobart for 4 days The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk. The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant. Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink  in the lovely  lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace. The staff are all friendly and efficient. I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious. Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,"

"location was great for travellers who want to stay near the city centre. however, instructions for drivers were not clear. We noticed that there was a ”no left turn” sign leading to the main entrance of the hotel, but later we were then told that it was allowed as long as we are hotel guests. Otherwise, stay was pleasant, gym facilities were sufficient. "

"I booked a twin room and stayed here twice. The first time, I was on the ground floor in a standard twin room. The facilities were complete, and while the room was small, it was very clean. There was no view from the window, just the ground floor platform. The second time, I was assigned a room on the 4th floor, with a view of the sky from the window. However, it was laid out for disabled access, and the bathroom flooded after a shower. Also, one of the 'twin beds' was actually a makeshift mattress, so one of the two adults didn't sleep well. When I asked to change rooms, I was told the hotel was fully booked and no changes could be made, which I was quite unhappy about. On the positive side, the hotel has a scenic pool and sauna on the 5th floor, which is great!"

"Walking distance to city centre and waterfront. But we were allocated to a room above main streets, so quite noisy. For a light sleeper, you may be woken up by trucks at 5am. Family room has 2 separate bedrooms (one with king bed, the other with 3 single beds, 1 bathroom to share) which is good for family stay. Value for money compared with other Hobart hotels. Also highly recommend the cafe nearby which called Ed’s only 120m away."

"Not bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you."

"At Airone Hotel Capsule Hobart, I felt quite comfortable and at ease. Traveling solo, I appreciated the privacy and quiet, which the capsule here provided perfectly. Everything was tidy, clean, and sufficient, making me feel secure while resting. The location is convenient for exploring the city on foot, ideal for solo travelers. Overall, it was a positive experience, suitable if you're traveling alone and want a simple yet pleasant place to stay."

"A charming historic landmark right on Macquarie Street- close to all landmark interests. I got upgraded to room 6 which was quite comfortable in size. Bed was comfy and nice bathroom. Breakfast is excellent- and included with my booking. Holly and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I went on a Bruny Tour - pickup nearby and saw the albino wallabies!"

"The motel itself is actually not bad. Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be worse. But the rooms are fresh and clean. It lacks air conditioning though. It was cold at night and hot during the day. Also, a suggestion for the owners – it would be great to have at least a microwave downstairs. Sometimes you just want to heat something up for a quick bite, but... And there can be issues with parking spots. There aren't many spaces available. It's first-come, first-served."
