Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong

I adore this hotel! This is our second time here, and we chose a room with a view – it was wonderful and very comfortable! It's also not far from the city center by metro. The staff is lovely. The pool is great, but it closes if there's rain or a storm warning.

Let's not even talk about how small the room was; I understand Hong Kong is an expensive place. The room facilities were identical to a budget hotel on the mainland—cramped and cheap. The toothbrush bristles even fell out! The front desk service, for a five-star hotel, was so awful it shattered my perception of hospitality. Is this really Hyatt's standard? **Hygiene**: The tissue box looked like the previous guest had used about a fifth of it, folded into a triangle so the next guest could just pick it up. There were also hairs on the glass windowsill. **Service**: The service was truly something else. As fellow Hyatt members, foreigners were allowed to check in first. Is this hotel still playing favorites with foreigners? The two male front desk staff members had very bad attitudes; it felt like we owed them a huge favor just to check in. **Environment**: The 'influencer' infinity pool, right? You can just enter and exit without a swim cap or goggles. The staff apparently doesn't care about any grease or dandruff in the water! It's a very small pool, and absolutely filthy. How on earth did it get hyped up as an 'influencer' pool? I've stayed at so many five-star hotels, but this one is truly beyond salvageable—like trash that can't even be recycled. It should just go out of business already.

Facilities: For Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, the room was quite spacious. It was fully equipped with everything you need, including a water dispenser, coffee machine, and disposable toiletries. Cleanliness: Clean and high-end. Environment: Excellent. The MTR station is right downstairs, and there are many dining options nearby. Service: Warm and welcoming service; they proactively offered to help with luggage.

The location is excellent, right by the North Point A1 MTR exit, and near the North Point shopping mall. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping service is meticulous. It's also close to the East District waterfront. The A12 airport bus stop is conveniently located nearby, with fewer stops, making the journey fast and efficient.

Conveniently located in North Point, the hotel offers easy access to transportation and a vibrant local atmosphere. Though the rooms are compact, they are clean and comfortable. The service is friendly, and it offers excellent value for money – a great affordable option for experiencing authentic Hong Kong Island life.

Extremely disappointing stay, completely unworthy of a member! I had already stayed for four consecutive nights, and when checking out, I asked the front desk agent, Jackie, if I could have a late checkout until 2 PM. She was dismissive throughout the entire conversation, refused without any room for negotiation, and didn't even bother to inform me about the member late checkout policy. She just said I'd have to pay for an extra day if I stayed until 2 PM. If you're going to have a membership system, why completely disregard the basic needs of a long-stay member? The hardware is great, but the service completely drags down the overall rating. I will not be returning, nor do I recommend it.

This was my first time staying in Central for work, and the Hyatt Centric is conveniently located right by North Point MTR station. It's super easy to get around, and there are plenty of dining options at the nearby Harbour North mall. Plus, getting taxis to client meetings was always quick. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel offers excellent facilities and service overall. For Hong Kong, it's really great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

This was our second stay at the Hyatt Centric (North Point). The service was as warm and welcoming as ever, and they were very accommodating with requests like extra blankets. This time, I traveled with my parents, so I specifically booked a family room. The connecting door in the middle was very convenient. The hotel's surroundings are great for exploring, with both a waterfront and a local market nearby. Transportation is super convenient, with the tram, MTR, and airport bus all accessible. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from Central.
