A big thank you to the front desk staff, especially to the female bespectacled staff. I was given an ideal capsule but was not able to have a good rest due to a neighbor constantly on the phone and having her meal on her capsule. Thankfully the staff was aware and tried to persuade her to take it outside at the community area but to no avail. Instead the staff suggested to have my capsule changed and I had an awesome rest throughout my stay thereafter.
Grateful to have this staff around. 🥰

KKaodigua-This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was a really unique experience. There were people from all over the world, though the language barrier made it hard to communicate. For someone who's a bit of a clean freak, this hostel was surprisingly tidy; they frequently cleaned the common areas. Just remember to bring your own disposable slippers – I didn't, and it was a little awkward. The location is also fantastic, right next to Haji Lane, which is bustling both day and night with food, drinks, and entertainment. It's an easy walk to Bugis Street and Merlion Park, and the MRT station isn't far either!

AAnonymous UserI had a long-term stay here. The female-only dorms are in two separate buildings. The first building is on the second floor with no elevator, and you need a key card to enter. This building has mixed-gender rooms, and the female dorms are on the same floor. When you go to the restroom, you'll likely encounter other guests. There are a decent number of restrooms and showers. In the common area, there's a washer and dryer, costing $10 per use, but limited drying space. The other female-only dorms are downstairs in the cafe area. These have fewer bathrooms and are dark with no windows. The breakfast is quite good, with different options each day. My only issue was with some of the staff's management, which I felt was inappropriate. Other than that, everything else was fine. It's close to Chinatown MRT, Exit A. One more thing: the communal kitchen with the water dispenser is in the cafe and bar next door, which is always busy and not very private.

DDaniel TradesThe hostel had everything I needed, including towels, a hair dryer, a washing machine, comfortable and cozy beds with privacy curtains, lockers, and a convenient self-check-in facility. There were plenty of clean bathrooms and showers, as well as a dining area and a refrigerator for guests to use. The environment was peaceful, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

YYueguangxiadewanzilunFor a country as expensive as Singapore 🇸🇬, a hostel priced in the 100s is definitely great value for money. Many local Chinese people stay here, and you can learn about Singapore's history by chatting with them. The closest MRT stations are Lavender and Jalan Besar, and it's also very near Little India, making it super convenient to get to all of Singapore's major attractions. There's a food court right downstairs, which is probably one of the cheapest dining options in Singapore, helping you save a lot on food. I stayed here for three days and thought it was pretty good!

AAnonymous UserI finished my night shift at 1:30 AM and looked for a hotel close to work, so it was convenient to walk a few minutes there 👍🏻. The price was affordable. The hotel slippers cost $1.00, but my size 37 feet found them small. The hygiene was just okay; the bathroom floor was wet, so I had to wipe my feet with wet wipes when I got back to my bunk 😅.
The room door was noisy every time someone went in or out. My bunk was on the top, and the ladder was high and difficult to climb up and down 🥲. I tried connecting to the Wi-Fi several times but couldn't. In the middle of the night, everyone was sleeping, quietly using their phones, which was very peaceful. Each bunk had a curtain and a small light. I went to bed at 3:30 AM, and the bed was comfortable.
However, my ordeal began at 5:30 AM. Someone started packing, and at 6:00 AM, someone turned on the main light to pack. There was the sound of zippers, rustling paper bags, talking, and the noise of people coming and going through the door. The main light being turned on and off made it impossible to sleep. I was so annoyed and frustrated in bed 😡 until I finally got up.
This experience taught me how difficult it is to sleep in a room with over a dozen people. I won't be booking this hostel again 🤦🏻♀️.

AAnonymous UserThe bunk beds were a bit wobbly, you could feel every movement. It's close to Chinatown, so it gets noisy at night. I'd recommend bringing earplugs and keeping the windows and doors closed. The bathroom and shower stall were quite small.

GGuest UserYou get what you pay for I suppose. The room is quite stuffy so not advisable for those who have problem breathing via the nose. Tap, the service boy, was quite helpful and smiles. The others, not so much. What's good with the place is the location as it is just a few meters from a bus stop, and there's a lot of convenience stores along the road as well as budget-friendly meals. As a Filipino, i was so happy to accidentally discover that there's a Jollibee restaurant at Pasar Lebar Square, just 2 km away from the hostel.
