Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World

The hotel is very well located, the decor is tasteful, the furniture is a bit dated but the bathroom is nice. The reception and service are what you would expect to find in China.

An established 5-star hotel with a prime location and convenient transport links. The service, in particular, was exceptional. A special shout-out to Judy at the front desk, who upgraded our room—the view of People's Square right before our eyes was simply stunning.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's a quick walk or bike ride to the pedestrian street and the Bund. I arrived at noon, and the hotel hadn't reserved the newly renovated room type as requested in my booking notes. After my persistence and the front desk staff's proactive coordination, I was successfully checked into a newly renovated room type that afternoon and even upgraded to a suite. I could also see the Oriental Pearl Tower and the 'three-piece suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers). Thumbs up! 👍👍👍 The concierge, housekeeping, and front desk services were all excellent too! 👍👍👍

Unexpected Shanghai Trip Found this hotel at the last minute. Arrived past midnight after a night flight, soaked from the rain, but was met with a warm welcome from an employee named Kara and even a free room upgrade. Enjoyed the Bund view every day, making for a satisfying travel experience. The amazing view from the 47th-floor SkyDome Bar and the Bund view from the room were fantastic experiences.

This hotel is really, really good! The location and service are both top-notch! I hesitated a lot because it was a bit pricier than I expected (it was National Day, so there was a premium), but it was truly the best choice I made! First, the accommodation! It was clean and the view was amazing. I arrived early for check-in and asked if they could give me a room with a good view. They found me the best view room comparable to the one I paid for 😆 Next, the location! Nanjing East Road and People's Square are right in front, which was great for tours (many meeting points are at People's Square) and shopping. Plus, many famous restaurants (hot mala ban on social media, Lu Xuxu butter cakes, crab roe and shrimp dumplings, milk tea, etc.) delivered, and a robot brought the food to my door, allowing me to try a variety of dishes. It saved so much time, it was amazing! The staff's service was also excellent. They helped with my luggage and were incredibly kind. Thank you! Oliver and Riley are the best! I'll definitely come again.
