Atlantis Sanya

I thought the peak season was over, but to my surprise, it's still crowded no matter when you come. After checking in, staff member Gavin Wen (Little Shark) added me on WeChat. He kindly shared information on how to best enjoy the hotel and even sent local guides, which was incredibly thoughtful. Since we were traveling with children, both of our rooms had welcome gifts, and we even received souvenirs when checking out – the kids were thrilled! Staying at the hotel granted free access to the water park and aquarium. Because our little ones were too young, we only managed one lazy river ride at the water park before calling it a day. However, we did catch several fantastic shows at the aquarium, which are perfect for kids. The hotel's shopping avenue offers a great variety of items, and the food at the family pool's dining area was delicious. It was so convenient to grab a bite there after the kids were worn out from playing. Plus, the hotel has several photo spots, and every picture turned out amazing!

Atlantis Sanya was absolutely fantastic! I honestly didn't have high expectations for the service, given how many people would be there. Even the taxi driver warned me about the crowds and potential service delays, which made me regret booking such a popular hotel. But as soon as we pulled up, a young man immediately came to open our car door and help with our luggage from the trunk. I was so grateful! I thought, 'Okay, service isn't bad after all.' He didn't even let us lift a finger, pulling our two large suitcases all the way to the luggage drop-off. He thoughtfully told us to keep our luggage tag safe before heading to check-in. After check-in, the staff kindly suggested we could go explore, and they'd clean our room as quickly as possible for us to settle in. Since hotels usually have a 3 PM check-in time and we arrived at 11:30 AM, I just nodded, figuring I still had a few hours to wait. I took the kids to the waterpark first. Before I even finished changing, our butler, 'Little Crab,' added me on WeChat and enthusiastically told me to contact her directly if I needed anything. I thought, 'What could I possibly need?' Besides, based on my experience at another hotel (Yalong Bay HUALUXE), even if I had an issue, the butler there couldn't really help. Then, at precisely 12:28 PM, I received a text message: 'Dear valued guest, your room is ready. Please pick up your room key at the front desk at your convenience. Enjoy your stay.' Wow, I was genuinely touched! Let me explain why: when I stayed at the Yalong Bay HUALUXE, I asked the butler if we could check in an hour or even half an hour early so my younger daughter could rest. The staff kept saying no rooms were available or clean. There was nothing I could do because the website clearly stated 3 PM check-in, but my little one was so tired from the journey that she ended up falling asleep on me in the HUALUXE lobby. So, Atlantis Sanya's efficiency deeply impressed me. My younger daughter played at the waterpark until 2:30 PM, and it was perfect timing to go to the room for a quick nap, which completely re-energized her. Later, I didn't even have to ask, but Little Crab thoughtfully informed me that the drinks, coffee, fruit, and water in the room were all complimentary. That evening, my younger daughter wanted to take a bath, and I was worried about the cleanliness of the tub, so I asked the butler if they had any sanitizing wipes. She immediately responded, saying she could send staff up to clean it for me. Not only did they sanitize it, but they also brought a bath liner—so thoughtful! The next morning, we went to the G floor for breakfast. Because it was so crowded, the staff at the restaurant entrance suggested going to the 18th floor if we didn't want to wait. I asked if the food was the same upstairs and downstairs, and the server said there wasn't much difference. So, I went to the 18th floor, only to find a meager selection of food, nothing like what I'd seen on the first floor. I casually mentioned my regret to the butler, saying I shouldn't have come up and should have waited. To my surprise, the butler immediately had her colleague escort me from the 18th-floor restaurant back down to the first floor to dine. I was a bit embarrassed! This trip to Atlantis Sanya completely overshadowed my previous stay at Yalong Bay HUALUXE. I have to say, it was truly amazing. My kids and I loved it, and we definitely want to stay here again. A big thank you to Little Crab, our butler, for making this trip so special.

Lucky to be on the 50th floor, the sea view is unbeatable! On the day of check-in, I added the 'Little Dolphin' (hotel staff member) on WeChat, and they reminded me of every little detail, which was very thoughtful. We could enter the aquarium anytime just by facial recognition, even after checking out, as long as it was before 3 PM. They also provided afternoon tea and a 'sweet moments' evening treat, which essentially covered three meals. I've stayed at Atlantis in Dubai, but I'm impressed that the service here in China is just as good!

This hotel is brand new and super popular! Our butler, Xena Xu, was incredibly attentive and helpful, a level of service unmatched by other hotels in Sanya. Room service was excellent; they provided plenty of bottled water, and we could request different types of pillows through our butler. We wanted to do karaoke, but the KTV on the second floor was fully booked. Xena even went out of her way to check other options for us, which was fantastic!

The room was clean and tidy, and the view from the window was nice, offering a good panorama. However, since it wasn't a sunny day, the sea wasn't a vibrant blue-green, looking quite similar to the sea in Shenzhen or Huizhou, which was a bit disappointing. But the weather is unpredictable, so there's nothing to be done about that. The aquarium in the lobby was a delightful surprise; I could stare at the fish for ages. The butler, Haibao (Seabao), provided excellent and attentive service, answering all my questions perfectly and promptly. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and a pleasant environment, especially the pickled noodles, which were so delicious I accidentally overate! The water park rides were thrilling enough, though it was a shame the rafting, which I most wanted to try, was suspended. The dolphin meet-and-greet was also a lot of fun. Overall, this trip was worth it!
