Papawhale had a very nice location, walking distance 6 minutes to Xi men MRT station, or Ximending night market, the room condition is not as same as appear in the website, the bed frame is made up of wood pallet, you can smell the moss taste, the bed frame headboard has some weird wet taste. Other than that is ok.

The room was quite dark even though I turned on all the lights. even in the bathroom so when I do my make up it’s difficult. I liked the dim light but when I needed to use a little brighter light they don’t have one. There’s some dust in the room and there’s a used bandage left in the shower area. The location was great it’s near the train station and other tourist spots. The staff who assisted me when checking in was really nice but the staff who helped me when I claimed my luggage was not approachable at all.

Staff were friendlier than my GPS, and the check-in was faster than my morning coffee brewing. Honestly, I came for a place to crash and ended up low-key considering extending my stay just to enjoy the peaceful vibes and people-watching from the lobby. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I bring snacks next time? Also yes, because midnight cravings are real.

Warm Hospitality: The staff speaks very well in English , and they’re friendly and accommodating. their friendly and attentive service, making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Comfortable Accommodations: Bed was cozy, it made my sleep very comfortable and a relaxing stay. Location: The hotel’s strategic location often allows me to easily explore nearby attractions and enjoy local dining options especially ximending district. Cleanliness: Consistent cleanliness and they’re committed to high a standards cleanliness. Amenities: The hotel may offer a variety of amenities, from a well-served food, catering to diverse guest needs. they have a convenient washing machine that is easy to follow. And even they helped me to book a taxi going back to the airport. If I were to come back in Taipei, I would definitely choose this hotel again! Thank you, HPW!❤️

The room was a bit small; with two suitcases open, it was hard to move around. Good thing the bathroom had 220V outlets, otherwise my Dyson wouldn't have worked. The hygiene was excellent though.

Very bad experience!! Roaches in room!! They didn’t even bother to offer room exchange. I had to ask for them to do that. Breakfast was so bad. Don’t bother buying that voucher. I would never ever book this again!

Location is topnotch! Hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is delicious and many options to choose from - Hot pot every morning and different types of beverages. Worth every penny! Book this hotel if you want good breakfast and nice place to stay within ximednjng area.
