Beauty Hotels Taipei-Hotel B7 Journey

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The first room we were given was dirty. There was body hair on the bed, yellow and oily-looking stains on the bed sheets, and mold on the walls. The overall cleanliness was completely unacceptable. We were then moved to another room, but the door didn’t work properly. The staff had to come and check it themselves and confirmed that the door was broken, so we were given another room. Unfortunately, things got even worse. While we were sleeping in the morning, a cockroach crawled over us. My wife was extremely frightened, and we decided to leave the hotel and find different accommodation. I want to make one thing very clear: the receptionist was very nice and genuinely tried to help us. His service was 10/10, and none of this was his fault. He did his best to deal with the problems we encountered. However, the hotel itself was extremely disappointing. Dirty rooms, body hair on the bed, stained sheets, moldy walls, a broken door, poor maintenance, and a cockroach are simply unacceptable. Receptionist: 10/10. Hotel: 1/10, maybe even 0/10. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the cleanliness and maintenance of the property.

Hotel is self service, but I can drop my luggage on the reception across the hotel. Everything were easy and smooth, staffs spoke english well. They were kind and accommodating. Sheets looked clean, however, my body was itchy. They also provided tea and bottled water. Bathroom was great, water heater (took a bit longer), hairdryer worked fine. As many toilets in Taiwan, no bidet :(. It was not really sound proof, you will hear external noises. But I'm no light sleeper so I was fine with it. Ah, and no window. Location were great, close to anywhere anything you need. Thanks!

Location is quite accessible and walking distance to the train station. Nearest is the NTU Hospital stop and about 10 mins walking distance to the airport train station. This was a giver to avoid bad traffic during peak hours and I could walk to XMD also. The cleaning aunty was also friendly too. The room is small but it's good enough for solo travel or couple who travel light and simple.

I usually stay here when I visit Taipei as the location is at the heart of the city, and the quality of facility and service are also well-above the price you stay.

Walking distance to taipei main station 12 minutes. Near ximending. Easy to check in and check out just follow the steps that are given in the apps. The room was okay for 2 person. Luggage can put under the bed

Wasn’t as bad as I thought. There was housekeeping services everyday. The staff were lovely too.

quite inconvenient as the main reception is across the road. service is quite unresponsive too, requested an iron but it didnt arrive for the whole day, had to request again on the next day. walls are not sound proof.
