The One Hotel Ben Thanh

Every staff there I encountered were friendly and very helpful. Location is superb, going everywhere from there is easy and near. Minimart were conveniently situated right beside the hotel. Only one downside is the high level of noise from the restaurant or building next door. I strongly recommend choosing a room away from the street area.

The hotel was not what was advertised. The rooms were old, lighting very poor. Took a very long time for room to cool down and never really got to a comfortable temperature. The elevator worked, but was old and you had to press and hold the button to get the door to open. We had two rooms and both had live and dead ants in the beds and I chased what appeared to be a cockroach across the bathroom floor. The bathroom temperature was hot and was not the same temperature as the living space. The location was great, with many food choices about. Staff were friendly and attended to the ant situation quickly. We cancelled our subsequent stay there, due to the disappointing experience. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We rented two rooms. One for myself and one for my sister and niece. After going out for the day after the first night, on return, my bed had ants roaming about, as did the desk/counter. My sister's room had a cockroach. The second day, same any issue happened one of their beds. When I called about the ant issue, she was implying it was my fault, assuming I left open food out, which I didn't. They are clearly aware of their insect/rodent issue, because they have insect repellent/deterant spray on their carts,which she applied to my room. The shower head was terrible with only one setting and the hot water flow was not consistent. Had to constantly adjust back and forth. The only positive thing is the reception staff are friendly and the location. Only about a 6 min walk to the Ben Thanh Market. But the room was very disappointing, considering the charge of $60/night. They should be charging half that!

I was booked for 3 nights, but I only stay for 2 nights which is I asked for a refund because the AC not really cold enough the place is too small. The guy that work at night told me that wait until tomorrow morning to refund the money because the accountant is not working then I wait until tomorrow to talk to the lady/guy in the front and she said this hotel don’t have a policy to refund the money back and then I told her what the guy said last night that he gonna refund the money , she ask me if I want to check the camera I was fine if she check the camera because I’m telling the truth. One important thing that I can’t stay at that hotel is the night that I stayed at that hotel an old lady holding the camera taking pictures of all of us walking in to the room and I was feel uncomfortable, then the guy knock the door and said if my friend want to here with us I need to pay for her stay something dollar.. this is was my experience

The nicest and friendliest staff. Always a pleasure to see my person everything I stay. Sorry I always forget my key in my room. 🤪

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, near Ben Thanh Market, a popular spot for tourists. However, the ambience of the hotel leaves much to be desired. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, and found that the lack of soundproofing was a significant issue. You can hear noise from both the street and the guests in the rooms above. Every movement is loud and clear, making for a less than peaceful experience.

Very standard hotel, don't expect too much. The location is superb.
