New Year's Eve was so crowded outside, it was better to just stay at a landmark hotel. The complimentary minibar with non-alcoholic drinks and beer was a great perk, offering a wide variety – super nice! I also got welcome fruit for just 1 point on Ctrip. **Environment**: No need to even mention it – it's the Shanghai Tower, after all! But the weather wasn't great, and my room didn't face the 'Three Piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyline), so it felt a bit gloomy and lacked the dazzling light show I'd imagined. Such extravagance! **Hygiene**: Why specifically mention it was spotless? (Because with the European-style glass door decor, even a tiny water mark would ruin it) Hahahaha. **Service**: Excellent, prompt, and on point. A quick call and they were there immediately. My only gripe was being asked to wait at the lounge for check-in while the person behind me was processed directly. I suggest they consider guest needs before asking them to move aside and wait. **YI Lounge Signature Executive Afternoon Tea for Two**: I checked in late and didn't have time to experience it. Next time, I hope they can offer it as room service – that would be perfect! Hahahaha. **Breakfast**: Semi-buffet style. The variety was average, but the quality was decent. Overall, I'm very satisfied – it's an iconic landmark, after all!

J Hotel, a Chinese homegrown brand, boasts spacious, bright, and luxuriously comfortable rooms nearly a hundred stories high. From 556 meters up, you can gaze down at Shanghai, feeling like you're overlooking everything. At this height, you can witness the sunrise 3 minutes earlier than from the ground, and even see the sun below the horizon. The buffet dinner offers a rich variety of dishes, with delicious caviar and French oysters. Special thanks to the attentive butler for their thoughtful service, even arranging a birthday cake.

The service in all aspects was excellent, especially during check-in and the follow-up phone call after checking in, which made us feel incredibly welcomed (sometimes details determine success or failure). They meticulously asked whether we preferred Chinese or Western style, which was perfect. The hotel is located in the Shanghai Tower, a landmark building and the tallest in Shanghai. It felt like being in the clouds, and watching the sunrise and sunset was a truly special experience. The service was high-end (thanks to the attentive staff); there were always people greeting or assisting us in various areas of the hotel, which made for a very pleasant experience. Breakfast was relatively rich and varied.
