The Sanya EDITION

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the duty-free shop. It's not a long distance, but it gets quite sunny. The hotel is large, and the public areas are comfortable. The coconut groves are extensive and great for taking photos. We stayed in a standard room with a large bed. The room has a simple but comfortable design, which I personally liked. The hotel breakfast was very rich, but it was also very crowded. Overall, it's still very good.

The Sanya EDITION might be on the pricier side, but after experiencing everything, I honestly think it's worth every penny. On the day we checked in, the weather was absolutely perfect. We arrived just in time for sunset, and the sunlight glistening on the ocean was incredibly beautiful. Even the 'blue hour' after sunset had such a magical vibe. The next day was even more incredible: we woke up to a foggy, overcast morning, but by the afternoon, it had cleared up to bright sunshine. It was like we got to see the beach in every possible weather condition, each with its own unique and stunning atmosphere. The entire hotel is incredibly photogenic; you can get a great shot anywhere you point your camera. Every corner is a scenic spot. The coconut groves, lawns, and water features are all beautifully arranged. There are countless photo opportunities, you don't even need to try hard to find a good angle – any snap turns out great. The recreational facilities are also comprehensive, with water bikes and small boats available. Even though we weren't great at paddling, we still had a lot of fun. The beach at Haitang Bay is less crowded and serene, with fine sand and a wide, expansive sea. It felt completely different from the sea view we had from our Grand Oceanfront King room, but both were equally breathtaking. The hotel's family pool and pink tennis courts are super aesthetic, and we saw quite a few people playing, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. The gym facilities are also excellent. The restaurant environment is impeccable, and the pool outside the Sky Bar on the top floor is also fantastic for photos. Seriously, every part of this hotel is a treat for the eyes. The service was attentive throughout our stay. Staff members greeted us warmly and proactively whenever they saw us. Since we were on our honeymoon, the hotel specially decorated our room and prepared a cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. If we had a lot of luggage, they would actively help us store it or deliver it to our room. They also helped us with our luggage when we took a taxi, making the entire trip completely stress-free. A special thanks to our butler, Cooper, who responded instantly to any questions we had, and was patient and incredibly thorough. And to Mason, who delivered items to our room with such a great attitude – enthusiastic and polite, he made an excellent impression. Overall, the experience was truly flawless. It's perfect for honeymooning couples or family trips. You can play, take photos, or just relax, and the comfort level is off the charts. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Sanya!

Feedback was addressed incredibly quickly, and you could feel that every service member had a strong problem-solving mindset, which was very reassuring. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement: Details and Family Experience • Soundproofing Issue: One minor hardware drawback is the subpar soundproofing. Any slight noise in the corridor is quite audible inside the room, which might slightly bother light sleepers. • Kids' Facilities Need an Upgrade: For a luxury hotel costing 3000+ per night, the kids' club facilities seem a bit outdated and lack engaging activities. Furthermore, the hotel's scheduled children's craft activities are quite complex, almost always requiring significant parental involvement, which can be a bit tiring for parents hoping to 'free up their hands.' 🏷️ Summary If you prioritize minimalist aesthetics, excellent service, and a quiet ambiance, The EDITION is definitely a top choice. However, if you're traveling purely with children, the value for money in terms of family amenities is indeed debatable.

Facilities: Simple yet grand, I really liked them. Cleanliness: Housekeeping was very prompt, asking to clean twice a day. Environment: Three days weren't enough to explore everything, it's very picturesque. Service: Dino's online service was excellent; they added me on WeChat before my trip and were always responsive to my needs. In person, I was greeted with smiles everywhere I went!

We stayed for six nights with our child, and the room arranged for us was quite good. The check-in experience was pleasant, and there were decent activities for kids. The butler and other staff were very attentive, and the environment is beautiful with many photogenic spots – definitely take lots of pictures! I'm a bit of a clean freak, and the room's cleanliness met my expectations, which I was happy about. Breakfast was also decent. All in all, I'd give it five stars! If I stay in Haitang Bay again, I'll definitely choose this place.

The Edition is absolutely massive, with so much green lawn. What's great is that you can walk on the grass without getting sunburnt thanks to all the shady trees! There are tons of activities, and the experience was fantastic. The kids enjoyed kayaking and water biking, and it was a real bonus that these were free for hotel guests. Breakfast was also excellent, especially the outdoor seating – it was incredibly comfortable.
