The room had a great view and was spacious enough, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is perfect for taking photos; the pictures turned out so atmospheric, especially with good lighting. I didn't even want to leave the hotel! The lounge was also nice, and breakfast was fantastic. The hotel service was excellent, especially the young man Vincent. It was a very satisfying stay, and I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

I stayed at The Sanya EDITION for three consecutive nights and I'm totally hooked! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, every staff member greeted us with a genuine smile. The front desk was patient and thorough during check-in, and the housekeeping team proactively said hello whenever we crossed paths. Their consistent friendliness and politeness made us feel so comfortable throughout the stay. My one-on-one butler, Wendy, provided service that truly touched my heart. From her warm welcome upon arrival and gentle reminders about room details, to spot-on recommendations for local attractions, I didn't have to worry about a thing—it felt like having a thoughtful friend right by my side taking care of everything. The hotel's Southeast Asian-style ambiance is incredible; every step inside feels like walking through a vacation blockbuster, and the scheduled performances added so many delightful surprises to the evenings. The biggest highlight was the artificial ocean area, where you can freely enjoy kayaking and water cycling. Heading out for a spin every afternoon with the sea breeze blowing completely washed away all my fatigue. There were also complimentary Pilates and yoga classes—stretching out by the sea left my whole body refreshed. My three-day itinerary was packed, yet I didn't feel tired at all; instead, I felt a deep sense of total relaxation and peace of mind. With such top-notch service and experiences all around, I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Sanya!

The Edition truly exceeded my expectations. Tiara, our butler, was incredibly efficient. My child's birthday was just a few days away, and she arranged a delicious small cake (it was really good!). The hygiene was also excellent, and even on a rainy day, the public areas were beautiful. This trip, we tried both Tianlu Restaurant and Xianhai Cantonese Cuisine; personally, I preferred Tianlu.

Our butler, Ultraman, was incredibly thoughtful and communicative! We also received some “surprise gifts 🎁.” We're so satisfied with The Sanya EDITION! 😂🤣 The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic spread of Chinese and Western, savory and sweet options. You absolutely have to try the pickled vinegar wontons, almond slice bread, DIY mini hotpot 🍲, and especially the freshly squeezed juices. The room ambiance was also great. There were even morning yoga classes; I managed to attend the 7:30 AM class even while on vacation – the beach yoga was amazing! They also have water bikes, kayaks, and tandem options – I loved it all! It felt less like being in China and more like the Maldives, hehe.

Our stay at The Sanya EDITION completely exceeded expectations! The hotel's aesthetic is on point—the beach, pools, and public areas are brimming with atmosphere and make for amazing, highly photogenic backdrops. A special and heartfelt shoutout to the Guest Relations team 🌹🌹! From proactively reaching out prior to check-in 🌹🌹 to attentively inquiring about our needs, their response time during our stay was lightning fast. They were professional, thoughtful, and truly put themselves in the guests' shoes to help coordinate and arrange everything. Every little detail was taken care of, making the entire communication smooth and effortless, which really maxed out our experience! The breakfast was delicious, and we also tried the Hainan chicken at JIN Restaurant—both were fantastic. We will definitely be back at EDITION the next time we visit Sanya!!

I chose to stay at the EDITION for one night as a stopover during my trip, and my immediate impression was that the service exceeded expectations. Before my arrival, my butler, Wendy, added me on WeChat to confirm my itinerary and preferences, and even replied instantly at past 10 PM, which felt very thoughtful. Upon check-in, I was given a room upgrade and welcome fruits. When a minor hygiene issue came up later, the butler resolved it immediately, and the housekeeping supervisor and duty manager handled the situation very promptly, which put me completely at ease. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how problems are handled and the promptness of the resolution—the EDITION did a fantastic job with this! Throughout my stay, they continuously provided various services and proactively asked about my experience, which convinced me to bring my baby along for my next stay. Every staff member I met greeted me with a smile and was extremely polite! Thank you to the EDITION, my butler Wendy, and the duty manager. Having stayed at so many hotels, this is one of the rare ones that delivered a full-score experience!

An absolute nightmare—avoid at all costs! The stay was a huge disappointment and completely not worth the price. At 2,618 RMB a night, we had high expectations. I've heard that many of the positive reviews are actually solicited in exchange for membership sign-ups or adding WeChat/phone numbers. To be fair, while the room was a bit dated, the ocean view was indeed lovely, and the front desk staff were very nice. However, the worst part was the hidden fees lurking everywhere! We wanted to go to the hotel club just to take a few photos, only to be told there was a minimum spend of 888 RMB. We just wanted a quick snapshot, but the staff gave us a disdainful attitude, saying we could only stand and snap a hurried photo on the spot. It completely ruined the mood, and none of these rules were communicated beforehand. As for the promotional photo shoot advertised, we found out upon asking that it only includes 5 free photos, and anything beyond that costs 988 RMB per hour. Many of these services aren't proactively disclosed; you only find out about the extra charges when you ask. There was no sense of attentive service, just constant upselling. For such a hefty price tag, the experience did not match up at all—it was frustrating from start to finish. I genuinely do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation or a spot for nice photos. Make sure to ask about every single fee before booking so you don't fall into the same trap I did. I will never stay here again and will warn my friends and family to think twice before choosing this hotel.

The hotel's public areas are full of style; the minimalist design paired with coconut palms, the swimming pool, and the beach creates a very well-maintained environment. Strolling around is incredibly therapeutic, and it's a great spot for taking stunning photos. The room's bedding is soft and skin-friendly, allowing you to instantly relax upon lying down and ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast at the Jin Restaurant deserves a big thumbs-up. With a rich variety of choices ranging from Western pastries to local Hainan flavors, the ingredients are fresh and the taste is on point, ensuring both adults and kids can find something they love. The bubble party at the pool is a source of pure joy for children. Filled with bubbles all over the sky, the atmosphere is lively and fun, and the kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave. The biggest bonus is the service 🌹🌹. It was meticulous and thoughtful throughout, with a warm attitude and quick responses to any requests. They never intruded deliberately yet always provided caring assistance. The entire stay was relaxing and wonderfully comfortable.

The Sanya EDITION is absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway! The public areas are stunningly aesthetic—every snapshot looks like a masterpiece. The staff were warm and attentive, ensuring a totally chilled-out and comfortable stay from start to finish. Whenever I visit Sanya again, the EDITION will definitely be my first stop! 🌹🌹
