Tokyo Off-the-Beaten-Path Travel | Tokyo Dome filled with the romantic atmosphere of Japanese dramas
Many people come to the Tokyo Dome mainly to attend concerts, but little do they know that there is a Tokyo Dome Hotel with great value for money and a wonderful view. There's also an amusement park and a shopping mall, so you can really have it all - eat, drink, play, and stay with excellent facilities.
The Tokyo Dome is only open to the public during performances or games, and many shops have opened underneath it, making it a very nice place to relax. If you don't want to go to places with lots of tourists, coming here is a great off-the-beaten-path choice.
🎡 Koishikawa Korakuen:
Do you remember the Ferris wheel from the Conan anime that Shinichi took Ran to? It's the one in Korakuen.
Since the surrounding buildings are not tall, you can get a panoramic view of the Tokyo Dome skyline from the Ferris wheel. There's also a roller coaster that goes through walls and a romantically lit carousel at night, making it a perfect spot for couples to visit, truly embodying the atmosphere of a Japanese drama. Plus, there are very few tourists here, mostly just Japanese locals.
The amusement park and shopping mall are built together, so after having fun, you can go shopping and eat, and even take a dip in a hot spring.
🏡 Accommodation: Tokyo Dome Hotel
✅ The main reason for choosing this hotel was that I had never stayed in this area before, and their rooms are definitely considered large in Japan, with good value for money. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows face the Tokyo Dome and the amusement park's roller coaster.
✅ During this trip to Tokyo, I stayed in three hotels. This one was the cheapest, but the room was the largest and very bright, with relatively new decor. The room also provides Pola cleansing products, which is a thoughtful touch.
✅ Remember to request a room on the side close to the Tokyo Dome when checking in, so you can sit on the windowsill and enjoy the view of the Tokyo Dome at sunset and when the lights first come on. There's a good Yakiniku restaurant called Gyubei on the second floor of the hotel, which is the best dining option nearby.
📍 Location: Tokyo Dome Tokyo Dome
🚇 Transportation:
There are two subway stations and three subway lines that can take you to the Tokyo Dome, which are Korakuen and Suidobashi.
Great place, a variety of food, leisure facilities, cafes, playgrounds are all available. And the surrounding subway buses are very convenient. There are a lot of young people in Japan. When the idols hold a concert, the dome is a great scene.
i love the lighting decoration at night for the Tokyo dome city . it is very colourful and festive . i think is so fun riding the roller coaster at the theme park . there are many restaurant and shops in the Tokyo dome city . I will go again .
The Tokyo Dome Hotel looks very beautiful in a large building, and the lobby looks magnificent. The night view from the room on the slightly higher floor of the hotel is quite good. The top floor looks out and feels overlooking the city. The scenery is also very good when the weather is fine during the day. The room size is medium and the conditions are OK. The hotel buffet breakfast is quite good and rich.
We bought tickets for five activities, but the large-scale stimulant projects were not opened. The children were not interested in other projects and did not play. Later, they gave the tickets to their classmates in Indonesia.
Very good, very good
My family and I stayed at the Tokyo Dome Hotel which is right beside Tokyo Dome and the amusement park. It is a very convenient location with the Suidobashi train station just beside the hotel. Tokyo Dome itself has many food selection and shops. There are also a number of convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance.
