GGuest UserThe room size was generous, and the bathroom was quite spacious. I was satisfied with the cleanliness, though the soundproofing was a bit lacking, but still acceptable. The staff were friendly, and our room was cleaned daily while we were out. However, on the night before our departure, someone knocked on our door for cleaning at around 8 PM, which we declined. Downstairs, the hotel offers complimentary drinks and some small snacks. In May, it was still cold, so coming back from outside and having a hot milk or hot chocolate was really comforting. However, I wouldn't recommend adding the hotel breakfast. It's €16 for adults, but the selection is truly limited, with only some bread, scrambled eggs, a small fruit salad, ham, and cheese.
To get to the hotel from the airport, take the train to Mechelen station, which is about a 10-minute ride, then it's another 10-minute walk to the hotel. To reach the city center tourist area, Brussels Square, you'll need to walk about ten minutes to catch a train, and the journey takes about fifteen to twenty minutes.
There are some eateries near the hotel, but most only open in the afternoon. About an 8-minute walk away, there's a small supermarket, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find more restaurants, shops, and attractions.
Overall, this hotel offers good value for money.
