Hokuryu Town is located in Uryu-gun, east of Asahikawa City, and has the largest sunflower field in Japan. The number is about 1.5 million, blooming with bright golden yellow sunflowers. The flowering period is from late July to mid-August, and in early August you can see a dreamy golden scene of sunflowers. Sunflower Village is located on an east-facing slope, so the recommended viewing time is in the morning on a sunny day, where the sun is shining and the golden sunflowers are more dazzling.
You are disappointed by the name, because it is completely seasonal.
