Must visit place in Nagoya - Nagoya Castle

I went to Nagoya Castle during the blooming of sakura and it was so beautiful. However the main tower is closed for renovation. Despite that, there are so many other things to explore around the castle. The high walls and the buildings structure of the castle are well preserved and maintained. There are also beautiful parks and gardens within the compound. Overall a must visit when you are in Nagoya. The admission fee was 500 yen for one adult during my visit in April 2023.

Special Heritage Site - Nagoya castle lightup

During the annual Japan sakura season - visit this special heritage site. Nagoya castle usually closes by 5pm but extends till 8pm during the precious sakura season. You can catch more than 1,000 sakura trees here and also visit this place with a castle filled with gold paintings and artwork. recommended duration would be 1-2 hours here for those into tradition and history

Nagoya Castle

Entrance fee for adult is ¥500, you can get ¥100 discount if you show them Shoryudo Nagoya Subway & Bus 1-Day Pass. They happen to have ninja and samurai show near the entrance, funny and entertaining. The castle is currently under preservation and repairing work, therefore we cannot enter, from the outside you can see huge cracks along the wall at foundation of the castle. Ghibli Dream World

#2024wish #japan #nagoya This is the Ghibli Park theme park in Nagakute, Aichi, Japan. It is not like USJ or Disneyland which have rides, this is more like a museum where you get to see Ghibli scenes come to life. The nearest station is Aichikyuhaku Kinenkoen Station. There are also limited meitetsu buses from Nagoya station to the Park. It is a must go for Ghibli fans. It is just so surreal and magical to see the sets. You can even see Totoro behind a bar table. So cute! There is also limited edition short Ghibli films for us to watch in a theatre. It changes seasonally. It was a really nice experience over there. I wish to visit the Ghibli museum in 2024

#freehotelstay This is the Ghibli Park situated in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It is built on and within the grounds of Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park). You can either take a train to Ai-Chikyuhaku Kinen Koen station or take a Meitetsu shuttle bus from Nagoya station to Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park. Unfortunately, these are not included in the JR Pass. Although they call it a themed park, it is more like a museum. You get to take lots of Ghibli scenes and see how they are created. I really liked it.

#wecreate Opened in Nov 2022, Ghibli Park is located within the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park in Nagoya. Currently, only Ghibli's Grand Warehouse is open to foreigners, and one has to queue up online a few months in advance to purchase the tickets. The Ghibli's Grand Warehouse is an indoor attraction featuring all from past Studio Ghibli movies such as Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo and more... There are a lot of photo spots you can take photos with, as well as seasonal short original movie you can watch, exhibits, souvenirs for purchase and even children's play area. It's a great experience for Studio Ghibli fans.

Nagoya hotspot🔥 Ghibli Park✨✨

The Ghibli Park in Nagoya, which opened last November 🤩, was so popular that several months' worth of lottery and first-come-first-served tickets were sold out! 😱 Moreover, foreigners found it difficult to purchase tickets because they had to provide a Japanese address and phone number. 🥲 When I checked in December, all tickets were sold out until March. However, I was able to visit by purchasing a package that included a hotel and Ghibli Park tickets. 🙂🙂 We visited the largest and most famous "Ghibli's Treasure Trove," which had many photo spots that recreated famous scenes from Ghibli animations and sets that made us feel like we were in the actual animation! It was really enjoyable! 😍 Although Ghibli Park is a theme park, you can still enjoy the park without a ticket. Fun at Legoland Japan

No long queues, nice dining experience and great rides for the kids. Adults get to enjoy a few more thrilling rides at ninja go. The submarine ride is amazing and feels like a real underwater experience! The Lego miniland is amazing with the landmarks of Japan. Kids get to learn driving a car as well at the driving school and catered for different ages. Recommended! #themepark

Japan Legoland

#celebratewithtrip Legoland Japan is located In Nagoya as a Lego fans I will strongly recommend to go and the Mini-land here is very nice . Getting to Legoland is pretty simple. From Nagoya Station, the city’s primary rail hub, it just a 24-minute ride on the Aonami Line to Kinjofuto Station, near the Ise Bay shoreline. Once off the train, Legoland is a 10-minute stroll away.

Amazing place to be at with diff regions to visit! absolutely love my stay.. and also its a land of hypebesast.. its where hypebeast got its name. This is where it all started. food was definitely amazing! what can go wrong with Asian food! Best to go to where locals eat. that's where you know the food is good and does right. A land of nature where its at its most beautiful.. I mean what can go wrong with Japan. fun and heaven exist at the same point of time. like you wanna have fun go ahead.. you wanna be the chill and be disconnected from the city.. you do you where ever you wanna go just do it. never have second thoughts! it's now or never!!!@!!!

Cool Water Features in Nagoya

Went to Mirai Tower in Nagoya and there were lots of refreshing manmade ponds and fountains to see, I also saw a pet Meerkat!

This tower looks like a small Eiffel Tower. It is good to see it lit at night although the lights could be more colorful. A landmark in Nagoya, it is near Oasis 21 and located within a park. The tower is impressive not only because of its height but also due to its location. This wasn't part of my itinerary but it's a few blocks away from my hotel. Seems the lights from the tower is inviting so even after a long day of walking and touring around couldn't resist making a turn and see the place. There are dining shops in the area where you can enjoy local food and beers. It's a nice place to hang out and have a chill night. #givethanks #givethanks

There is a lot to do in Port of Nagoya with the Public Aquarium being the most popular. There you can enjoy the dolphin show which is so amazing and world class dolphin performance. The entry fee is ¥2000. The amount is more than worthwhile specially when going with kids. The Port has many things to offer not just seeing many creatures of the sea but also to be educated of different species and their habitats. After going around from corner to corner of the aquarium. there is also a shopping mall and a lot of restaurants with lots of choices with their savory food to rest and refresh of tiring yet enjoyable tour inside and outside the aquarium which theme park is also located that offers many rides. 🐬🐬🐬

This is a very fantastic aquarium. There many fishes and water animals. White Dolphin Beluga, Killer Whales, Turtles and many beautiful jellyfishes. You can go for walking, couples, families and friends.The aquarium was just like an amusement park. You can enjoy with anybody. Everything was so beautiful and you can enjoy the time a lot there. Stuffs were very nice and kind. Its really great to go there especially on rainy day. The highlight of the aquarium is the shows, both indoor and outdoor. The Sardine Tornado is quite a unique, it dances with light and sound. The second best is the Beluga Show which I've never seen in any other aquarium before. For the Orca and Dolphin show is similar to others aquarium. If you want to experience them all, you need to organize the time and the routing inside the building well. All Nagoya residences are proud of this aquarium for sure!! #givethanks #givethanks

-Most beautiful port of aichi ken -It's clean and makes you feel good.
