This theater was very "in" when it was restored and re-opened several years ago, and it still is a fantastic place for a movie, concert or discussion. The setting is gorgeous, so no matter what you're there for, it's an event, and you feel special being there.

So this is a very old theater in Los Angeles. This movie theater was built for Mary Pickford!
I recent came here for a special screening: the event was amazing as well the venue itself. The venue has Catholic Church alike architecture interior . The seat are all leather but js kinda too close to each other not a lot of leg rooms. I get to see couple movie stars in the screening.
I recently attended a VIP private screening of "The Nice Guys" staring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling and was impressed with the venue location. The gothic architecture and elaborate paintings takes you back in time and while the seats are very narrow and the bathroom below the auditorium was a bit eerie, I had a great time and the highly recommend this location as a destination for old school glam.
Came here to watch a screening for Big Eyes and what a beautiful theatre! Parking is of course horrible but plenty of seating available and pretty comfy as well.
