Gandate canyon
Super beautiful canyon with many cascading waterfalls! All ages can go on the hike and it doesn’t matter whether you are an experienced hiker or a beginner! I recommend it for any nature lover!
Worth the walk
If you are not driving and want to go Mount Ontake, there is no public transport that brings you there. But you can try Gandate Canyon, which shows you walls of cliff formed by lava of Mount Ontake er...
Powerful rock surface and waterfall
Visited after taking a bath in Himeshaga no Yu. It's just a short drive away. There is a parking lot, and you pay a cooperation fee of 300 yen at the entrance of the promenade to go to the promenade. It is a wonderful landscape from the giant wall Iwatachi to the three waterfalls.
Negative ion supply
It is the best tourist spot in Hida Kosaka. It is also accessible by car. You can hike around the waterfall from this park. The cooperation fee will be about 400 yen.
Just a good walk course with a superb view
I went in mid-November and the autumn leaves were very beautiful and it was a good memory for my family. You can also take a walk with your dog, and you can see a wonderful view while feeling negative ions.
