Many people died when the withdrawal ship was sunk by the Soviet Union. It is a memorial monument. There are some acquaintances who were on the remaining ships. I've heard the story at that time.

    Original Text

In the midst of the throat immediately after the defeat, historically, a 々 evil was done by the Soviet Union, which is one of them. The pulling ship was sunk by a submarine, and hundreds of lives disappeared into the sea. A story I heard from my father when I was a child.

    I'm telling you the tragedy.

    Original Text

It is a memorial to the incident in which a withdrawal ship from Sakhalin was submerged by a Russian submarine. Built by the Governor of Hokkaido, it is built facing the roadside station overlooking the Sea of Japan. It is a sad story, "Your death, which is not in vain, will be the food for the generation of peace."
