    Quiet and peaceful Shinto Shrine!

Whilst walking alongside the track of the "Shiokaze-go" Retro Railway from Mojiko to Mekari, I noticed the Koso Hachiman-Gu Shrine marked on my map. The Shrine lies about 100m to the east of the rail...

"The land related to the legend of the Yoshitsune tsuruhei family"

    Original Text

When I was heading toward Wafukari Park, I happened to pass by and worship. It was usually a quiet precinct with few tourists, but it was introduced as "the land related to the legend of the Yoshitsune Heike" and the tomb of Taira no Tomomori stood next to the hall of worship.

There is a tomb of Taira no Tomomori in the far right of the shrine.

    Original Text

A shrine located on a slightly hill in Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The shrine was revered by many military commanders such as Minamoto no Noriyari, Minamoto no Yoshitsune, Takauji Ashikaga, Mr. Ouchi, and Motonari Mori, and the shrine was magnificent. I heard that the purpose of visiting here was to have Taira no Tomomori's tomb in the precincts. It was very difficult to understand, and there was something that was said to be Taira no Tomomori's tomb in the far right of the shrine. There was a signboard for explanation, but if you come to worship normally, you may not find it.

Ginkgo も See you! Can you stage? もあり.

    Original Text

I was on the way to the entrance of the Kanmon Kaikyo Tunnel. Ginkgo was scattered in early December. There was also a stage where Noh and Kyogen could be performed.
