Zen temple
Eishunji, founded by Sigekatsu Sakai, a Samurai at the end of Momoyama Period, is a temple of Soto (Zen) sect. It is not touristic, but if you pass nearby, you can maybe take a look.
It's about a 5-minute walk south of Fushimizu Kaido from Sumisome Station on the Keihan Train. There is a one-way street, so it may be a little difficult to get there by car, but I wonder if it's okay if there is a navigation system. It was founded in 1568 and is a temple related to Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Therefore, there is the only existing Fushimi Castle remains. The profound mountain gate is good. If you go through the garden and go back, you will see the townscape of Fushimi in front of you. There is also a pet grave.
