This shrine is read as "Iwakura Jinja" in this kanji. Yes, this is a shrine that can be said to be the birthplace of this area and the present Iwakura. It is only clear that it was founded more than 1200 years ago. The main deity is the twelve shrine Myojin in the west shrine and the eight shrine Myojin in the east shrine. The shrine ranking is an old village shrine, but it can be estimated that it has a much more historical history than the existing main shrine ranking from the Ichimasha style structure.
