Granite Exhibit & Museum of Stanstead

The most impressive collection of miniature trains.

Unfortunately the train exhibition doesn't exist any more. The owner has move it to his house and he is looking for a buyer.

Who knew granite could be so interesting?

Worth a visit if you are in the area. Most parts of the exhibit are free. Not a destination, IMHO, but if you’re visiting the Haskell Free Library and Opera House, a tour can easily be incorporated.

It is nice to see beautiful work. You would think you're in a real village surrounded with trains. Thanks for the ride

Sad times

Arrived to find this closed. Had visited many times before. Will miss it. Best train collection I have ever seen as well as a great collection from the surrounding granite industry.
