The botanical garden is located in the north of the middle section of Modern Avenue in the park, forming an angle with Jinji Lake and Shahu Lake, covering a total area of about 60.5 hectares, of which the water surface area is about 12 hectares. The design of the garden comes from the well-known Dutch landscape design company NITA Landscape Design Institute. The plant collocation and plant landscaping in Baitang Botanical Garden will highlight the ecological landscape. Plant design, terrain shaping, and water body design are all based on the principle of simulating the ecology of nature. A certain scale of natural landscape forest will be arranged, and some wild animals, birds, insects, etc. will be introduced to gradually make the forest itself form an ecological cycle. In order to make up for the lack of natural mountains in the park, the botanical garden will also carry out terrain transformation, and create mountains through artificial mounds to create a landscape of ups and downs. The lake water of Baitang Lake will also be presented in the form of primitive ecology. On the one hand, the water level can be effectively controlled and connected with the water circulation of the outer river. On the other hand, the tortuous lake shoreline, river network, hillside wetlands, etc., will naturally display diverse ecology. community. The botanical garden can be roughly divided into three areas: west, middle and east, and the terrain gradually increases from west to east. West area: The terrain is relatively flat, with "the main entrance to the west of the park, the comprehensive service building 1 (Music Fog Plaza), the comprehensive service building 3, the boat rental management office" and the starting (ending) station of the sightseeing bus, which are all activities for the park tourists. Relatively concentrated gathering place. Central area: The terrain is higher and more uneven than the "West Area". First, it is to properly block the sight of visitors entering the park, and it is also built according to the "spring, summer, autumn and winter" seasons and the characteristics of suitable plant growth. Among them, the "Cruise Vehicle Repair Office" is arranged on "Spring Island", and the "VIP Reception Room" is arranged on "Autumn Island". Eastern District: The terrain is higher. The artificial mountain with the main peak height of 14.8 meters and the secondary peak height of 11 meters was built by mechanical stacking. Among them, "Comprehensive Service Building 2, Comprehensive Service Building 4" and "Peak Tea Room" are arranged. In order to reflect the primitive wilderness taste of the wild mountains and forests in the suburbs, two "artificial streams" are also constructed on the mountain, one is a "water stream" and the other is a "dry stream".
