The Ch'ien Mu House

The former residence is in the inner of Dongwu University. There are not many people to visit, but I really recommend everyone to visit. The generation of masters is very worth remembering. You can come after visiting the Taipei Forbidden City.

Qian Mu's former residence in the campus of Dongwu University in Taipei is a place where the Chinese master Qian Mu lived before his life. No tickets are required to visit for free. The former residence has a restaurant and living room on the first floor of two floors, and a residence on the second floor with a bedroom and study.

In Dongwu University, after visiting the Taipei Palace Museum, I took the trip to Qian Mu's former residence. There were very few people on the university campus when I went. Qian Mu's former residence was not much tourists. The former residence was simple and there were many exhibits. There were also audio clips of Mr. Qian Mu. There is a sun room outside the former residence where you can sit and drink tea. However, because it was cloudy and I didn't see the staff, it was a little deserted, but I felt quieter.

Qian Mu's former residence! The name of "Sushulou" is because Qian Mu was almost incurable when he was seventeen years old. After his mother's careful care, he finally recovered. For the mother's gratitude, he named it after the old mother's residence! A deeper meaning is "it is enough to be a good person, and it is enough to concentrate on learning when you do a good job".

Qian Mu's former residence is still worth a visit. The whole layout is very fresh and elegant. The neighborhood is all surrounded by lush trees. It is also shown that Mr. Qian Mu's words and deeds are very cautious in his life. Everything inside is the original appearance.
